I hope there is no violence like last yr. That was ugly and a blackeye for our great rivalry. I hope fans and students from both sides show more class and that security is in full force.

I know a lot of Coach T members are from the Murfreesboro area and that most of you think Oakland will win. Oakland is a good team and will probably play one of their best games of the yr after the Siegel loss. I got to see most of the scrimmage with Oakland. I know it was a scrimmage and a game would be different. Oakland threw the ball well and played solid defense. Oakland had a very good qb and a very good receiver. They hit hard on defense and played hard every down. I watched Franklin Co and Tullahoma. Franklin Co is a good team and could win this one. They do have to get better in the def backfield. We could throw the ball deep all night. They do have one of the best rbs in this area and they have a very good qb who made good decisions. I look for a nail biter that comes down to the final minute. I think Franklin Co wins by 3.

Please be certain that mjuhb does not speak for all Wildcat fans. We have a fine city and a great school. Coach Olive is a class guy and a great coach. This game will be close, just as our other 2 games have been. It will come down to turnovers and which defense steps up in the 4th quarter. We are more than just Cass. Our off line has been awesome and our def plays with a lot of heart. Hillsboro could have beaten us with their last drive, just as Franklin Co could have. If we played both teams 10 times, we probably win 6 out of 10. What concerns me is our pass defense. We still need a lot of improvement. If Franklin Co's coach had decided to throw the ball late in the game, instead of running it almost every play, we might not had won. Their qb was on all night and their receivers were open. What saved us, was that we tackled their receivers after they caught it. Manchester has an excellent qb in Hibdon. He has not gotten off to a fast start, as Coach Price probably wanted, but he will have a break out game at some point. If Coffee Co's running game is successful, Hibdon could have a big night. If Hibdon protects the ball and makes the right decisions, Coffee Co could put some points up. The good thing about our offense is that we can score in a hurry. I think Tullahoma wins 28-27.

Great win for Tuillahoma. Cass came up big and our punt team was the difference. Matt Thurman had a great game at linebacker. We will only get better and a win against Franklin Co was a great way to start the season. Franklin Co has more heart than in yrs past and the Leslie kid is a great back. The Ray kid was also impressive. Franklin Co fans were wondering why he didn't start last yr. Good luck to the Rebels in Region play. The Cats will be ready for Hillsboro. They also have a good qb.

The Raiders should win, but don't be surprise if Shelbyville wins. Shelbyville is not very strong, but neither is Coffee Co. Is Shelbyville wins, it could be a long yr in Manchester.

I don't think this game will be close. The man that no one has mention is #44 George Childress. He is strong, fast and healthy. Barnes is playing in his 1st varsity game and I believe Tullahoma will try to establish the running game. We will spread the field and run George. George will gain 150 yds or more. Franklin Co is not as strong on defense as they were last yr. Don't know much about their offense outside the Leslie kid. I hear they have a good line and good recievers and a good qb. Will be interesting, but Tullahoma wins big. We will get back to our old ways of winning 8 to 10 games. Go Cats.

I believe our qb and best db were at baseball. We have an excellent qb who can throw and has very good speed. Franklin Co will not throw the ball deep. They are going to pound the ball the majority of the time. Coach Olive has been working the players hadr and expectations are high. Tullahoma and Franklin Co will be an excellent opening day game. Hope to hear from Tullahoma and Franklin Co fans. Game is Aug 26th.

Both teams start the yr playing each other in week 1. The game will be in Franklin Co at their new field. The Rebels have won the last two games by the total score of 60-0. Our defense will be better, but we still lack speed. The Rebels return one of the best backs in our area and they also have one of the top qbs and lineman. However, I feel our secondary and linebackers will be our strengths and we will be very motivated to beat the Rebels. Our srs don't want to be 0-3 against the Rebels. One of our strengths is our passing game and from all indications, Franklin Co's weakness is in the secondary. If our blocking holds up, I believe we can throw often and throw deep. Franklin Co will have a very good team and it is always a classic. I am speculating the score with my heart and I hope I am right, Tullahoma by 2 tds.

Should be a very good Region, with Cookeville and Lincoln Co being the favorites. The darkhorse could be Franklin Co.

We are more concern with how we play than who we play. The sr players needs to play up to their potential. We still do not have a lot of team speed. However, we will be a very good hitting team. We need a hard nose runningback who will hit the hole. Barnes may be the qb and if he is, he needs to prove that he can take a hit and run the ball when he needs to. He will also have to prove that he can make the right decisions when he is being rush. Bonds and Thurman will lead the defense and we expect the defense to be much better than last yr. Since you ask about the schedule, we dropped Columbia, White Co, Overton and Spring Hill. We should win against Coffee Co, Warren Co, Shelbyville, Lawrence Co and Hickman Co. The Rebels game will be critical. We have not scored on them in the last two yrs. We need to make a point and score fairly early in the game. Coach Olive and staff are working the players hard during the summer. Look for much improvement from the team in 05.

Cookeville, Lincoln Co., Franklin Co., Cumberland Co., Warren Co., and Coffee Co. Once again, Tullahoma will beat Coffee Co.

You just explained what is wrong with Coffee Co baseball. By the way, Morris pitched well going against your second pitcher. The arguing among Coffee Co fans was terrible tonight.
