  2. Dyersburg's 2010 roster is posted on coachT in the Team info section. Are you wanting stats just from DHS/Crockett co. Game?
  3. 3-0 Dyersburg. The game started out very even....both teams passing well with a lot of finesse. Dyersburg found their game and ended the 1st half 2-0. Added another goal in the 2nd half. Trogans you are making us very proud!!!!
  4. 3-2 Dyersburg. Interesting game with neither team playing to their potential. Half the boys on both teams play travel ball together and I'm not sure how much that had to do with anything. Very slow start. First game of the official season for both teams and boy, was that apparent. Best of luck to both teams for the remainder of the Season. Madison and Dyersburg have young teams with loads of potential. Congrats to the Trogans.
  5. Dyersburg v Notre Dame 0-0 30 mins in with D-burgs best defender out early with an ACL injury
  6. Dyersburg v. Notre Dame 0-0 25 minutes in and D-burgs best defender out early with an ACL injury
  7. If USJ makes it to the finals on Saturday then me and mine will be there. D-burg plays travel with alot of the USJ boys so we will be there with any of our DHS team that wants to come with us to support the Bruins.
  8. Good Luck to Madison and USJ tomorrow at State. The West is rooting for both of you!

  12. Well, I'm just here to post...Dyersburg 2, Westview 0. Very hard fought game. Westview was missing a very good senior player to a questionable straight red....Westview gave Dyersburg a very good game....made them work for everything and nothing was ever, ever easy.. Westviewl is a wonderful team with many talented players. Good luck to them against North Side. Regionals will be: Dyersburg v. USJ at Dyersburg on Tues. May 12th time: TBA Jackson North Side V. Westview everything TBA
  13. Yes, if we win then we would host the runner up of District 13? either USJ or Northside. On Tuesday I think
  14. Apparently he got up in the refs face about a call or lack of one. Mr. Hart says the ref misunderstood what he said which was something that rhymed with BS (in the long form). Know both the ref and Mr. Hart has a pretty good rep for being a good sport so its hard to say. I don't know if it was the actual words or just the fact that he was aggressively up in the refs face that earned the red.
  15. Dyersburg 6, Dyer Co. 0 Westview 7 , Milan 4 Westview/Milan game was quite a game... tied at end of reg. play 3-3 with Westview down 1 player with a straight red. 25 sec into the 1st 10 min. overtime Milan was up 4-3. Then with 3 minutes left in 1st 10 min. overtime Westview scored 3 goals. To begin the 2nd 10 min overtime the score was 6-4 Westview. Westview scored 1 more goal late in the 2nd 10 min. overtime. Kudos to Milan for a very hard and heart played game. Kudos to Westview for coming back with many obstacles!! What a game!!!!

  18. Yes, if it is an influenza where NOBODY on the planet has been innoculated. I dont believe you are grasping the concept of a true widespread epidemic. Be flippant if you want but I worry about what I would do if my children were sick and no store was open because everyone is sick. I remember when my grandmother had the Asian influenza back in the 70's and I've never seen someone so sick before or since. I'm pretty sure you've never had the flu or taken care of anyone with it or you wouldn't reply so disrespectfully. This is a real health problem. Schools are closing based on recommendations by the CDC. The Center for Disease Control does not make such recommendations lightly so they should be taken VERY seriously.
  19. Unfortunately, yes it is that serious. Yes 36,000 die each year from flu but with the H1N1 Influenza NOONE has been vaccinated so the chance of a lot of people getting sick at once in a cluster could be very traumatic to a community. Maybe those in the bigger cities would have more resources but can you imagine in a small rural community like Dyersburg if the Walmart should close and the two other grocery stores because the staff is all out sick. Can you imagine if banks and gas stations and drug stores close because the workers all have the flu? Schools are closed because the likelihood of cross contamination is so great because of such close contact and such large numbers and well, kids are hard to keep sterile. With this type of epidemic it is so much better to be safe than sorry. It may all turn out to be reletively mild as FLU goes but you can be pretty darn sick even with a mild case! And if the local economy starts to be effected by widespread absences then everyone suffers. Maybe it was just one child in a school at first but that child was shedding virus contaminents at least a day or two before anyone knew he was sick. It can quickly get out of hand. My family is all soccer and our team has a good chance this year of doing well and if events are cancelled it will be terribly disappointing especially for our seniors but I for one am glad that schools are taking this seriously.

  21. Definately Lexington High School has stepped up in a big way and was certainly a huge surprise for most in West Tn. Look for them to shake up districts and regionals this year and dont be surprised if they make it to substate or further. A fired up team ready to go!
