did you think at all before you began typing this? i have two issues of concern. first, your wild comparisons. cody is a phenomenal talent, but i saw todd helton in high school and frankly thats just not fair to either player. todd hit .725 his senior year, and hopefully cody can match him. the second issue is your willingness to open the family yearbook in a public forum like coach t. there is a 2 year rule on athletic accomplishments and you have violated it twice already that i've seen. alright man, i'm finished with you. lets make sure not to use any more bonds or helton comparisons okay? best of luck.

Lets just be honest, what has Seymour ever been good at besides prematurely losing teeth? So Seymour boys, enjoy the cow pasture known as your baseball field, the mullets you aspire to have, and the uneducated hillbilly drawl you speak with. Does anyone know the score of this game, and who pitched for each team?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the rule behind the hidden ball trick was that the pitcher could hand the ball off, BUT he was not allowed to be on the dirt on the mound. In that instance, it would be a balk. If he was standing on the mound ready to throw and then the 3rd baseman tagged him, I definitely agree with that, but I wasn't there so I wouldn't know.

Who was Farragut playing?

I'm pretty sure the score was 8-6, with Farragut winning. I know Farragut won but I'm not 100% sure that was the score.

Unfortunately my team doesn't get to pick out the music, we just listen to some good ol' country music. Its so depressing to listen to that before a game. I think the best stuff to come out to would be for sure some hard rock...maybe a little bit of Mudvayne, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, or Crossfade. You just gotta get pumped and country music sure doesn't do it. Oh yeah and we have the Lord's Prayer and then the national anthem before the game as well.

Wow, thats all I can say about it. Two no hitters back to back for South Doyle. First with Chad Bell against Heritage and then Ryan Holland against William Blount. Congratulations boys and keep it up this year.

OK, I've seen all these teams across Tennessee brag about how amazing their teams are going to be this year. The regular season does not begin until March 13th, I believe. Every single team in this state is 0-0. No one really has any reason to tell everyone how they are going to win state and dominate everyone this year. I'm pretty sure that the state tournament is about three months away. Not pointing any fingers...cough cough..DB. Just give me one good reason why these teams should be making all these outrageous claims. I just know I'm gonna laugh at these teams when they don't even make it out of their region. Funny thing about it though, everyone here knows that I'm right. Well I've got nothing else to say here.

Alright well first of all it really doesn't matter who I play for. I'm just saying there is no need to run your mouth about your team. Come home with a ring from Murfreesboro and say something. You have nothing to brag about. So what if you have great hitting and pitching. Bearden has some of the best hitters in the state. South Doyle has one of the best pitching staffs. Farragut is always raw and has potential to win state every year. You don't hear them bragging about how good they are. Accomplish something then say whatever you want. You are starting to sound like guys from Seymour.

I know for sure that Halls will dominate District 3AAA and probably will continue to for 2 more years or so. Just don't brag about your team man. You don't need a bigger bullseye on your back. Everyone will be gunning for you all this year and you have to play hard every game. But I'm sure you already knew that Striper.

Alright Striper, stop bragging about your team. No one cares. Just show up to play this year and prove to everyone else that you'll dominate District 3AAA again this year. Preseason talk means nothing. Hope to see you in the Region Tournament this year.

Anyone have prediction on which teams from the East in 3A will go to state this year? Between Bearden, Farragut, South Doyle, Halls, Dobyns-Bennett, and Ooltewah it seems like a tough race. Opinions?

hahah, well said man, well said. but yeah...occasionally foul language MAY come from the student section, but thats just simply to make fun of the other team or the refs. nothin wrong with all that. we just have to have spirit thats all there is to it. it was a little preimptive of our fans to rush the field twice before the game was over but the girls in the student section just apparently dont understand that football doesnt end until the clock reaches 0.0. i have an idea who this guy is that posted this, but yes, if you have any problems with our student section or choice of words that we use....feel free to call the numbers on our backs, we should be there every week up on the front row.

Yeah, well out in east TN at least. I know a lot of the best baseball players in the area are playing for the Yard, Thunder, or the Stars this summer. Who are you playing with sermourbsbll?

Hey why not have it out in good ol' Knoxville. These people out here don't have much else to do in this town. There are many great field choices like UT, Smokies Park, and even Farragut High School. Farragut's field could easily qualify for a college field. Attendance would be large in size because there honestly isn't much else to do around here in the spring other than go out and eat.

If you don't remember, Halls also pitched their #3 guy that game too...

South Doyle and Bearden both will be returning about 7-8 starters next year. Both teams were very good this year, so next year should be interesting for both teams.
