From what i hear, Ravenwood is going to be terrible.

First off, this isn't a basketball board, it’s for soccer. There is no need to even bring it up, nor suggest picking fight on other boards. Secondly, the scrimmages (Tuesday's and Friday's) were both good games. Father Ryan was missing a large portion of their team as was JPII. You can't make comparisons just based on the first game, nor just the second. You can't really make judgments at all, considering both teams were missing important factors in their lineup. The snow storm didn't help. The score however was much worse than 3-2. I am not sure how many Ryan scored, but I can recall 5. JPII also didn't score. They had one that was offside and wasn't counted, and probably wouldn't have gone in had play not been dead. The two players Ryan received weren’t anything special. If they were important players on JPII’s team, then I think JPII’s season might be in jeopardy. Either way, the JPII Ryan game will be a good one. I predict Ryan by 3.

Anybody on this team will/is making a big impact on his high school team. They are all very skilled. It all depends on if they can handle the pressure.

I love watching the freshmen in their first BIG game. The first few minutes is pretty humorous. Once they get settled down, they do alright. I concur. They all have nerves, but after the settle down they can compete. The problem comes in when they can’t deal with the nerves.

Brentwood has this one... They have to much talent, and they are going to be determined to not let hendersonville beat them.

ydet, I am sorry if I offended you. It was a mistake on my part to say 6-0 when it was "just" 4-0-- Not that it really matters when the score is that lopsided. Regardless, the point was that their keeper needs to make some big time saves in order for his team to advance. A good keeper is a vital part to the game. The goalkeeper is unique in the fact that he has so much pressure placed on his shoulders. Any mistake may equal doom to his squad. When a team’s keeper is not up to handling the pressure, defensively it all falls on the keeper. When it comes down to it, BGA played some good teams towards the end of the season, and they faltered down the stretch. Un tajo a la cara

Brentwood and Hendersonville are both in Middle Tennesee not Western Tennessee. But both should have good teams this year.

The Maddox player is quick, and has good skills. His footwork is good, and he has decent vision. He tends to rush too much and is easily forced into making mistakes. After a year or two, he could be worthy of conversation, but until then he might need to be put on the backburner. Rex Bowman will have his team ready by the end of the season for a run. They should be strong by the end of the season, and will make a run for another state title. Ryan or BGA will win the middle region BGA has a lot of talent, and has a good returning lineup. They played well last year, although not always as a team. Individually, they are all skilled, but without a team concept they might not go as far as some think. They also have a new spark on their team. I believe he plays on the TNFC 90's. If their keeper could get his act together and make a save or two, they could be a tough team to stop. Last year’s BGA-Ryan game was a tale of two halves, but the same team that Ryan beat in the state finals, slashed BGA's keeper for a 6-0 win (pun intended). JPII has some talent, and with another year, they will be a formidable opponent to Ryan, BGA, and CBHS. Tengo un dolor de mis nalgas.

BA actually has numerous travel players. They might not be the best team in the state, but they are holding their own. They only lost to Ryan one-zip last time. Ryan is playing better now, but BA is a worthy opponent.

I beleive that hte exclimation point should be after the sentance is complete.

Ryan 3-0 BA BGA 4-1 MBA (and the one only because BGA's keeper isn't so good)

i tihnk they will beat glencliff.. but not hville or bwood. but i dont really understand the way it works..so if they can beat glencliff and go, hten they will

well, perhaps BGA should have taken more the 13 players..
