from wat i heard.. baylor beat gps 4-1, which means gps plays st.benedict tomorrow mornin at 10 and baylor advances to the championship game tomorrow nite..

CHELSEA BRAMLETT FROM FACS and ASHLEY DOWDY from st.benedict... hands down the 2 best catchers ive ever seen.. very fast, great arms im talkin cannons, and can hit the heck outta the ball.. wonderful to watch and ever better to have them catch you

Well none of them have won state but st.benedict has placed in the top 3 for 3 yrs now.. the west just really isnt known for softball.. your rite it doesnt help that memphis is just now getting a softball team..Everyone looks to mid tennessee and never to the west, that could be one problem.. there are some good coaches in the west, there not all the same, there not all football coaches..sometimes it is the schools fault for caring more about football and basketball and not about softball, but some schools do care, not all.... memphis does have a wonderful pitching coach, as well as hitting, fielding and anything else softball related.. the west is just seriously under rated... there really are some good players from the west, no one knows about them because they dont get any media attention or any recognition.. maybe that should change! everyone should watch out at state this year things could be changing!

well i said someone should start a post about the best players in the West, so i decided that i would just start it... This is for all the players and teams in the West all can comment but lets leave this one about the talented ladies in the West.. it can be any position or any team, just say person and team and let the ladies in the west know watcha think!! just let us kno wat uve heard or seen

The Father Ryan V ST.Benedict games got cancelled saturday afternoon, or i should say friday afternoon.. It was a big disappointment, the st.benedict team was really lookin forward to playing them again.. St.Benedict travels to Chester CO. tonite for a game at 7.. should be a good game.. the eagles have already played chester co. once this year at their own tournament in pool play and won 2-0 so it should be a good game.. lets keep up the positive talk and "press" from west tennessee.. these girls work just as hard as away and would like to have some coverage too... i kno that many of the good teams come from mid and east tennessee but hey dont underestimate the west.. we have many good players from here so maybe someone should start a post that is best players in the west or somethin.. cause every post i see is about the best players in the mid, and east tennessee just a thought!!!! ill let ya kno how the sba v chester co game turns out!

well these arent really in any order but they are in my opinion are the top 5 in tennessee cause i cant really think of any other tennessee teams...not really in a specific order just top 5 St.Benedict(under-rated but very good.. very dominating pitchers and good hitters.. there pitchers are their #1 and #4 hitters) Baylor (always a good team..) Soddy Daisy (dont kno much but usually has a strong team, looks that way again this year) GoodPasture(not my favorite but i must say they have some talent..horrible fans though..sorry to say but its true) Brentwood High(pretty good team, nice bunch of girls..young but making a name for themselves) this is just my opinion so dont take offense to it!

Finally someone mentions west tennessee teams... every post on coach t is about teams from anywhere but the west... every team from the west is under-estimated very much.. we play just as hard of a schedule as anyone else.. well some do.. the good coachs get their teams out there to play the good team.. no one ever mentions St.Benedict, FACS(not the strongest team but they do have 1 of the best players around), or any teams from the memphis area.. these teams are continuously in the state tournament and st.benedict has been in the top 3 at state for 4 years now.. given that the teams else where in tennessee are good.. some very good but teams from west tennessee come and play those teams and either bet them or they play close very good games against them.. and furthermore the posters on coach t are always wanting to talk about the best pitchers and catchers and hitters and players from tennessee and seems that they dont ever mention those players from west tennessee... now why is that? there are some other good teams around that are very good and should get the same respect and props that other teams from the state of tennessee get... just my opinion.. so hey lets talk bout everyone when we mention players from the state of tennessee not just the ones in the east and middle tenn... thank
