Anyone have any thoughts on the scrimmage today between maryville and central? i say maryville beats that @$$ and wins by 5 or 6 runs!

Can anyone provide me with a roster for heritage? I cant seem to find one anywhere online... Also. what do yall think about the game tonight? Could be a chance to win for one these teams, bothj of whom seem to be struggling this year

Dow you REALLY believe that a flag will cause anyone to go out and kill someone? I think words and actions other than waving a flag will be a cause. When you look at William Blount, can you say, "wow, if we had just banned that darn flag this would have never happened" ? No, it had no affect at all!

I dont really look for alcoas D to be that good. In the State game last year both teams defenses absolutely stunk. And for Maryville, I think the biggest question is whether or not the O line will be up to the task in their first real HS action. We need to run the ball well to open up the passing game and take the pressure off the new QB.

For blount county it would be all maryville/alcoa players. There are only a few great teams in knoxville, but the rest there are certainly a heckuva lot better than heritage and william blount.

Yes, there are race relations problems in BC, but none of them have involved Maryville kids. All the Kids that vandalized the Mexican Store were county kids, and the problems at William Blount obviously had nothing to do with Maryville. We have done nothing wrong as far as race relations and it seems that we are being punished for the actions of our redneck nieghbors.

Do we have many that know how to play at maryville? Ive seen it on Tv and played on gym, seems like it would be fun to play. Is it be like rugby where its easy to pick up and anyone can play? If it is easy to pick up I'd love to give it a shot.

When the majority is almost absolute the opinion of the minority should matter very little. Have you ever been to maryville? It is ultra conservative and ultra white. The percentage of blacks is less than5 percent here. So there goes out those people who may be offended, and there are almost no liberals, who always seem to be offended, so that goes out the window as well. It makes no sense to offend 90 percent of the population in order not to offend 10 percent.

I was a bit suprised to see just two players on the list, with all the tallent in memphis and nashville., but not toatlly because most players on the list were from TX, FL, and OH, as expected.
