bcj40, As you well know our Debils and Panthers have traded wins for the last few years with the home team winning. If the Debils get there work done tomorrow night, believe me they will be ready to beat Powell. Powell IMO is way overhype. They think they have smith and watts and those should be enough. Now both of those boys are good, but it takes 11 to win. Lets just be the fire out of the dragons and then we will talk about Powell next week. If you go to the game, be carefull. Work has me tied down, but I hope to be there next week. bbs

panthers08, What a great post. Your last sentence, I think, says it all. Games that Powell CAN win. How many will they win is the great question. IMO they won't be better than 6-4. Your coach made the schedule. The region games are always their, but the nonregion games are his choice. Don't blame the woes on schedule making - blame it on players not produceing when it is time. Just read Earl Nalls ratings - there is no way Powell should be rated above the Debils from Halls in 4a. My momma said the debil made him do it. I say he is as dumb as farmer John looks. bbs

The Debils will win. Don't know much about the Beavers, except they run the Wishbone. Not only will they(Debils) win, but they will rip the tails off the beavers beat them with it and make them glad to get out alive. nuff said, bbs

rd94, You are right, it was not 20 years ago, only 15. I do remember because I was in grade school at the time. And it will be another 15 (or 20) years before Gibbs beats the Debils again. Tonight the Eaglets will pay for the loss last week to the Bobcats. And yes I do have a memory of playoffs vs. Maryville - I played on the team, thank you very much. bbs

I think if you look at the history of games between the Debils and the Eaglets you will see that Gibbs has not beaten Halls in the last 20 years or so. The last time Gibbs played Halls the score was something like 70 - 7. No way Gibbs has a chance. Halls willhave the freshmen in before halftime, and they will prolly score a couple of times. bbs

Webb normally beats Powell, and they did again this year. McCallie normally beats Webb, and they prolly will this year. Result = McCallie will beat Powell bbs

I think the Kees need to bring back the coach that got fired for hitting players, at least then they had some sort of attitude. bbs

Tanktalk, What makes you think the TSSAA is not fair. Their is no way they can please everybody. They are just like officials - no matter who they flag for a penalty, some idiot coach gets mad. Well after last weeks lose to Central (which I might add made me sick and catch grief at work), I look for the Debils to put a wopping on the eaglets from Gibbs. There is no way that Halls will loose to Gibbs this week. Gibbs wuldn't play us the last few years cause we kkicked some serious but. Now they want to play us again - bad idea, especially since we got clipped last week. nuff said, bbs

The Debils will win this one in a suqeaker 14-10. Helton will get sacked at least 3 times by big John Vandegriff and Justen Cox. The Debils have IT going this year. Central has not played like the superstars that they shuld be. Halls will be the upeset of the week. Glad this will be on TV so I can hopefuly watch the replay later this week. nuff said, bbs
