We cannot be considered the favorites considering last year we tied blackman and lost twice to them. We also lost to Riverdale twice (however the second time we advanced anyways). I say until we beat those teams we shouldnt be considered the favorite.

No he wasn't that far out I was at the game. He banked it in. Very tough to lose this game for Cookeville. Should be a good one next time.

Cookeville has gotten a lot better over the course of the season. They have had their share of setbacks with injuries but overall they have been playing well lately. It would not surprise me at all if they knocked off Tullahoma.

I missed that game but haha yeah nobody was red carded this time. One of Cookeville's First-Team all-district players was injured as well in that last siegel game one week ago.

I watched this game and Siegel came out strong and went up 2-0 in the first ten minutes. Both teams were pretty even in the rest of the half with both teams having chances. Most of the second half was dominated by Cookeville but they were not able to finish, coming up with only one goal. Good game Siegel and good luck vs. Shelbyville.

I agree that was one of the greatest games of the year. Cookeville's sophs come through again!
