The Hill has won matches against SE, ME, TH & Boone. The match @ Crockett is still on for tonight. Start time 6:30, I think. This could be another good one.

This may be the best matchup in Region One this year. The DB/Greeneville match was a good one but this one could be an even better match. Any predictions?

I don't have a list of teams but Ooltewah, Notre Dame, and Abington Va. will be some of the teams there. Also, North Henderson NC.

You are correct sir. I'll go out on a limb and say Greeneville will host them this year.

What were the scores of the Pigeon Forge matches?

One example as to how tough the tournament is at Knox Catholic would be that Bo Usary, a two time state champ, never had a first place finish at that tournament.I think he finished second twice. Now thats not a knock on Usary, just an example of how tough it is to win there.

So who's wrestling who this week? Any weekend results?

He's wrestling 165 for them now but I was told he's cutting to 157. I was also told he beat a guy ranked 4th in the nation in D2 at the first tournament King wrestled in this year.

Very informative post TD. It looks like alot of talented wrestlers will be returning to the region this year. Is there any chance of you having the the current grades of the returning region medalists? I'm asking for a year in school, not their GPA's. HA!

Nobody from Science Hill is left in the tournament. This is the first time in six years they will not have a state champ. That streak had to end sometime but no medals is hard to swallow. Hopefully they can turn it around next year.

I was told Bo Usary was ranked 6th in the nation in NAIA. WOW!

I do know that Murray beat Sliger 4-2 in OT to win the HWT division at OOltewah. Great match.

Anybody know how things went at Crockett last weekend? What teams looked good. Did any individuals look impressive? What teams were there?
