  1. wow, i was rooting for rosemark until the immaturity...wow...
  2. Too close to predict, who knows. Who is hurt for FACS, a starter? Will it make a difference in this match up?? I also heard Rosemark's LB/RB was hurt.
  3. good game, but MUS pulls away by 14.
  4. I think this will come down to a defensive stand. I don't think either team can stop the other's offense. FACS has good size from what I have seen and has a really fast QB and backfield. I heard one of their players was hurt though, not sure if that'll make a difference. Rosemark has a good passing game, Rosemark will not win this game running, if FACS shuts down passing game, its all FACS, but I don' t think that will happen. FACS big DE didn't play as well as I thought he would when I saw them play, if he can pressure QB that might shut down the passing game.
  5. wow. will he make a difference? sounds like he could atleast help stop the run. crusader, you think this kid is going to drmatically help your team in the long run this season? Looking at Murphy Fair's book and talking to some D-II coaches it seems like you all might have a big line up??
  6. I heard this week that FACS got a new really big player? Someone told me like 6'6 300 pounds? Is there any truth to that at all? What position does this guy play?
  7. For this year, from what you have heard or seen so far rank these teams for me, since I'll probably be in the area week 1 or so. Hillsboro,Nash. Christian, Pearl Cohn, Davidson Academy, CPA, DCA, Ezell Harding, F.R.A., Antioch, and David Lipscomb. Which teams will be better and which teams won't be as good. Any help would be appreciated, I will try to make it to a few games in this area.
  8. I heard that Davidson Academt of Division II A might be moved up out of A because their enrollment numbers were so big, has anybody heard anything about this?
  9. I am starting to think McCallie could do very well this year. After speaking with Coach Potter he seems very confident in his defense. Huffaker, Green , and Okpakowuruk bring great size and speed to this defense. Hopefully the new QB can step up and make an impact this year. 3 talented rb's also step in to help McCallie, each weighing about 185, they should be a threat also. Maybe now that Briarcrest is gone from AA I think ECS and PJP will be the top teams here. Mcphail , Johnson, and Holcomb bring some talent to ECS, PJP has some key players also in Tate and Coffey. Coffey is a very talented RB, great size at 220, should be trouble to get him on the ground. Tate could be a huge player with his quick feet and catching abilities. Webb might be able to step up this year with Askew and Seivers. Seivers is apparently a great TE at 6'3 245. Maybe Webb can pull an upset or two an d have a good season this year. Being 6-6 last year I think they will have a better year with 4 senior lineman. A is tough to make a pick. Bishop Byrne has unbelievable size in their line this year, just the lack of experience is what hurts them I believe. Clayton should be a great DE for them this year. Coach Grannon also told me they have much faith in their kicker this year. FACS returns all but one starter, and it seems like their key player this year will be Bryant, Booker, Fruitt, and Carter.Bryant seems to be a big prospect out of single A this year at DE, Booker a junior brings speed to QB, Fruitt brings good size to the Linebacking squad and Carter bring quickness to the backfield.
  10. I would really like to see wayne co go all the way this year. I am gonna try to make it to a few games.
  11. I have talked to several coaches in this division, but cannot get any info on Davidson Academy or SBEC, what will these teams be like this year?
  12. D-II 1.MBA (lost Birdsong but look for another title) 2. Brentwood (always a good team, lost some key players though) 3.MUS (lost park, lawhorn, and alber, but still rank high) 4.Briarcrest (need some lineman) 5.Catholic ( have talent, lost Mcfadden though) 6.Baylor (didn't lost too much, good team) 7.Webb (lose Mitchell and FB, but look good on rising seniors) 8.Father Ryan (not a very good team in 04', but looks like they have rising talent) 9. Christian Brothers (lost some players but still have some skill) 10. McCallie (lost their monster TE's and other starters) 11. ECS(lost simmons and hill, but could fair decent) 12. PJP II (lost bagwell at QB, not sure how they will do) 13. Notre Dame (return some quality starters) 14. Bishop Byrne (lost talent, but will replace it) 15. FACS (lost one starter) 16. BGA (hopefully have a better year?) 17. Harding (lost a ton of talent) 18. Davidson Aca. (lost Coffee and Major) 19. St. benedict (pretty much lost their whole team) 20. SBEC ( bringing back a good team) 21. rosemark (lost a very good QB) 22. St. Georges (who knows, may get an upset) 23. Memphis Catholic ( used to be city champs...30 years ago) 24. St. Andrews (no idea who they are) 25. Lighthouse (look a little better i guess)
  13. Tough one, MUS loses Park and the WR they had, but I think they will still do well in their spread offense. B.A. will always be a tough contender to watch as well, never know what they will have. Briarcrest with the loss of some big lineman, might not do as well this year, they have to have some skill positions step up and make plays.
  14. Webb, with the loss of Walker and Mitchell will have to find replacements but I think they will do very well in the playoffs. Not sure who else can step up in this division, a lot of changes this year.
  15. I don't know if I should even vote from what I hear, this region should be very tight. Davidson lost a few key players, Coffee, Major, and a few other starters. I hear Bishop Byrne is trying to put together another State team. But a big factor in this division should be FACS, they only lost 1 starter and obviously had a decent team last year. They COULD be a big contender. Rosemark lost their QB (forgot the name) and some other starters too. A lot of people criticize this division which I don't think will be a very smart idea this year, this division is putting together some good teams this year.
  16. Preseason...still, this stuff is pretty horrible.
  17. Anyway the topic was about the champs this year, I'll go ahead and try this. AAA 1. MBA 2. MUS 3. Brentwood AA 1. Catholic 2. Briarcrest 3. Notre Dame A Can't rank these, but with what I do know, it will be one heck of a battle between, Bishop Byrne, FACS, and Davidson Academy.
  18. They are apparently going to start a freshman quarterback who has very quick feet from what I hear. Not sure how well he can throw but I know he is fast. How many returning starters does Rosemark have this year? What positions have to be filleD?
  19. Is this kid supposed to be as good as Coffee, seeing Coffee play, that's hard to beat right there. Is he expected to be better?
  20. I know Coach Grannon pretty well, he told me that FACS only lost 1 starter from last year and he was expecting them to have a fair team for all of D II. Pretty amazing you guys only lost one starter. Also, I have seen both Rosemark and FACS play Middleton, and I'll probly end up at the Arlington games since I know so many kids from arlington. Coach Grannon also said, FACS had a good senior TE and a good senior TB. Who are they?
  21. WayneCO68

    A good team

Davidson recently moved to some other division, where Wayne Co. will no play them anymore, they have always had a decent team and last year they had a good one. What will they be like this year? What players have they lost? How many starters are returning?
  22. Yeah I keep hearing of Eric Davis...who is this guy? A coach, a player, who is he?
  23. huge numbers there from Wartburg.
