I know that the top 3 mentioned are great coaches and would be a great addition to any school. Coach Snider did a great job at CHS and Coach Tomlinson has done many good things at CHS and at CWHS. Coach Lepkowski is a great leader and also does a great job with the JROTC Program out there and has done some great things as the DC at Central. All 3 are good men and leaders. Depending on which teaching jobs if any come open will determine a lot as to who gets the job. I know ISS will come open. Good Luck to Central and the young men out there. If it is one of the above 3 that are mentioned then they will have a good coach. Hopefully it will be someone soon and they can get their system in place for the spring.

you all are right. Henry Co. is by far the best team in this district and if any team stays with 24 points of them then it is a loss for Henry. Why don't you just move up and play at the next level then maybe you would get some competition. You can move up you know. It is allowed. Then maybe just maybe you wouldn't be stuck in such a lowly district. Better yet just send your JV to play everyone then maybe it would be a close game with you all winning in the end by only 14 points instead of 40. Just play the games and enjoy it. don't complain about beating everyone so bad.

If you have the game tivo'd then you need to go back and watch that interception. One of Springfield's linemen did push the DE in the back and make him fall into the QB. There were no Wildcat players shoving each other and there were no wall of blockers. Make sure you get things correct when writing. It was a good game. Mistakes on both sides of the ball. Both teams will get better as the year goes on.

I look for great things out of Central this year. They have some great kids and some great coaches. Coach L as the DC, Coach Hey as the DL and Coach Bryant as DE coach will definitely get the kids ready for the season on Defense.. Coach Bragg, Coach Dawson, and Coach Thompson will have the offense ready for this up coming year. A great staff to work with. Great kids to coach. Keep working hard and great things will come.

Only restriction would be during dead period last week of June and 1st week of July. Coaches of high school teams can't coach any of their players at that time.

Gabe Sanchez from Montgomery Central should have been on there as a DB. He had 9 picks with one for a TD. Over 250 yards in int. returns.

Did they hold that meeting yesterday or is it tomorrow? I know on T$$AA page it says they are meeting tomorrow on the 18th.

especially since RHS Coach would not trade film with HCHS. I would want to beat them bad. Maybe they will take it easy on them.

If we truly wanted prayer back in school or at sporting events then it is time to take a stand for it. Because of a few we have been told we can't. It is time to take a stand and let the government know how you feel. I believe prayer in schools was stopped by one woman. We have to stop letting a few rule the majority. It is just like the old saying goes, "The squeaking wheel gets the oil!" We have to start complaining about things not going as we want them to. We have to let people know that there are more of us that want prayer than those that don't. Until then those that complain the loudest will get what they want.

Did you son get recruited or is he being recruited? Most Athletes in high school do not go on to the next level. We as parents hope they do and believe they should focus on one sport in order for them to go to the next level. I believe that most athletes should play as many sports in high school as they want. Now given that I just said that I believe if you play 3 sports your body never as time to heal or get stronger as you really can never work out. Football and Baseball are the two sports that take up the most time in a students life. If you play baseball and Football then you will have no summer to yourself. I believe most students can excel in 2 sports and very few can excel in 3. Some football players were actually chosen to play football in college after a football coach saw them playing basketball in high school. Students should be allowed to enjoy the high school time and playing sports is a great way to do that. You never know what sport one may excel in until their senior year in high school as their body is still growing. Just my two cents worth.

I found my answer thanks to everyone's help. Teams are required to play all other teams in their district/region unless the district/region is comprised of nine teams. In the case of a nine team district/region, the district/region can vote to play a “pod scheduleâ€. The nine teams would be placed in three groups of three teams. Each team would play the other two teams in their pod and two teams from the other two pods for a total of six district/region games. The six district/region games in the pod schedule shall be designated as district/region games for each team. If a team chooses to play a game against a team in the district/region that is not a designated district/region opponent, the game shall count as a non-district/non-region game for the purpose of district/region standings. straight from TSSAA website.

I thought all teams should play every other team in there district. For example District 13. Crockett Co. doesn't have to play Westview or Covington. I thought that is why we went to the districts in the first place.

after the way Central's secondary was slashed for yards this week it looks like a long friday night for central. Boy were they torched Friday night. I bet that Stewart County's QB's arm will probably fall off after Friday night for as many times as he will probably throw the ball. LONG NIGHT FOR CENTRAL!!!!!!!!!!! Their secondary can't cover anyone. Will be lucky to find the field or who to line up on.

good game saturday from your squad coach. You all really put it on Rossview. And then also adding those TD's in the last few minutes really added fuel to the fire. Don't take you foot off the gas remember it will never come back to bite you in the future.
