  1. Actually he did that in 12 minutes, none the less that had to be one bad dude!
  2. Very well said and I totally disagree with what that person said on here, Alcoa showed lots of class to us and continues to in there post on here. (this coming from a Huntingdon Fan) I do however have to say Alcoa11905 that the comment you made about being "better" somewhat baffled me. I mean u make all the above statements then come back with one of your own. People like the one that wrote all that crap thrive off of people responding to it. My advise would be just skip his/her post and not worry about it. What did you mean by better? Better than what?
  3. There was no miracle in Paul Ward Staduim Friday night just a team that understands there is ni I in team. Having spoke to a couple a guys that were at the Camden game last night, they seem to be all that impressed with Goodpasture. I'm sure for them to make it this far that they must be doing something right, but the Stangs are gonna coma callin this Friday and you will have to play a full 4 quarters if you want to hang with these boys. If you don't believe me ask those folks from Milan. Would also like to congradulate Milan on one heck of a season and one can only imagine what next years game will be like. Come on Milan and go to Nashville with us Friday and show Goodpasture why 7AA is the best classification in TN. Steady Boy's and Cody Crocker u the Man!!
  4. I know some schools from the west that have all those attributes, Alcoa also has one other reason for being as good as they are. They share this with most other football powerhouses, it's called PRIDE!!
  5. Here's the down low on this game BC since your in the East. Huntingdon aver: points per game = 37.4 Milan = 28.3 ( due to there 1st game was suspened due to weather) Huntingdons Defense giving up 12 points per game Milan = 11.6 Teams in common that were played Gibson County - Huntingdon 53-20 Milan 37-14 USJ - Huntingdon 48-12 Milan 39-15 Humboldt - Huntingdon 54-20 Milan 31-6 Dresden - Huntingdon 21-12 Milan 31-17 Trenton - Huntingdon 35-0 Milan 35-7 Westview - Huntingdon lost 26-29 Milan lost 6-10 Milan won 28-21 If you want to see a downright slugfest between 2 of the best football teams in the state, come to Paul Ward Stadium in Huntingdon this Friday and you will get your $7.00 worth of football. I have to wonder though, who is Alcoa pulling for?
  6. WE MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THAT! GO STANGS GO !
  7. Coming from a very unbiased person, I believe ( just from what I've researched) that Alcoa has too many weapons for Louden to keep up with. As far as folks questioning the Alcoa communities class, ( running up scores) the community had no part in that just the coaching staff making a statement for the rest of the state to read. We ( Huntingdon) heard the message loud and clear and are looking to give them an answer on Dec. 3rd. ( providing we beat Milan this Friday) Huntingdon vs Alcoa, anything else would be uncivilized ! lol Good luck louden, maybe I'm wrong and if so well someone from region 7AA will be waiting in the boro for ya.
  8. Earlier post says 278 and 3 td's, I was there and Chris was off to the races in the second half. carver was a very good ( yet unorthodox) football team. I can't say that I've ever seen a team line up and take the plays from the sidelines while getting ready to snap the ball. Hats off to # 15 for carver, he was fun to watch and can flat out fly!
  9. Shhh Lion, we would rather keep a low profile! lol Alcoa knows what west TN football is about and congrads to Camden. Louden I'm sure has great Football team but not in the same category as Huntingdon, Milan and Alcoa. Camden is in the early stages of building a fine tradition also. Goodluck to all the teams and GO Mustangs!!
  10. Glad to hear that your boys were ok, I was just going off of what I saw from our stands. That was a very good post and your right our kids start football at a really young age. I don't know if you had the opp: to look into the grass beyond the endzone but you would have seen prob 20 - 40 young men playing football. This is where it starts for Huntingdon. The part about Chris doing to much dancing and not enough running over folks was somewhat wrong though. Chris generally will go out of his way ( it seems) to run over folks I guess he was doing things a bit different against ya'll but was very effective. Goodluck to your program and fund raising efforts , it must be hard for those boys to get jacked up for a game knowing that mom and dad ain't watching. Sad, but I do understand. Go Stangs!
  11. I think your right there is way to much talk about who we would play the next week. I due however believe that Mansfield will have his boy's focused. This isn't new territory for these young men, they know how to play footbal in November. 1 Game at a time. Go Mustangs Go
  12. That kid was hurt, they took him away in an ambulance @ half time. If I'm not mistaken I believe Chris was responsible for putting 3 different kids out of the game last night. How many sacks did he have anyway? Keep focused boy's and keep that intensity you had 2 night and all will work out just fine. How do you get to Carver anyways?
  13. Huntingdon 49-0 over westwood ! Any question whether Huntingdon is for real Wescharge, ya'll struggled with a 4th seed. I hope we see ya'll somewhere down the road!
  14. Let me take over from here Shelley. Wescharge, I know you know and judging from post's I've read ( not just on this page) facing Huntingdon in the playoffs is not something anyone is looking foward to. Westview is good ( no doubt) I mean hey you did win 7AA championship and beat H-Town early in the year. You also stated that you won 7AA 2 yrs in a row, well thats all well and good but we weren't in 7AA last year and thats the only reason you won 2 yrs in a row. Now let's look at the present, Huntingdon ( as usual @ playoff time) is really clicking on all cylinders and from talking to some of the boys this week they are as healthy now as they have been all year. Boo is getting to rest his ankle and will be ready to create some havoc in our playoff run. If Westview is fortunate enough to make it to the 3rd round I have no doubt that Huntingdon will be traveling to Westview to finsh some buisness that was left undone in week 2. As far as the band is concerned we are as proud of the band as we are of the football team because this is truely a tight nit community that realizes the sacrifices these kids make to be able to perform at a level that can win championships. ( be it in football, basketball, band or whatever) I don't expect you to understand because you have made it more than clear with your post that you are a complete idiot. Realize that these are kids and the future of our community and we are proud of the achievments they have gotten. Bottom line is this, be proud of what your team has accomplished but don't disrespect what other towns accomplishments have been. And remember if your satisfied with being just 7AA champs then thats all you'll ever be, we would rather bring home the Gold Ball here in H Town.
  15. Lord , Lord you folks over in Benton county sure are touchy these days. All I was trying to say was we were smaller than you( with the exception of Big Ced) and to be quite honest alot faster. We are now and were then a better team than Camden, remeber folks there are 4 quarters in a game, when you play region 7AA teams you better be prepared to play all 4 because after half time there are still 2 quarters left. We also made no exuses for losing to Westview we just lost and hope for the oppurtunity to play them again, it was a great game as all Westview and H Town fans will tell you. Good luck Camden thru the playoffs and we hope to meet ya'll again.
  16. I would have to add another team that was not as big as Camden and that was Huntingdon. Not trying to push any buttons but I didn't see that speed you were talking about either. Guess ya'll were saving that for your region games!
  17. You my dear Sir or Mam whichever the case may be, have obviously had way to much to drink. You can't honestly believe that Camcen can score 40 on Huntingdon right now. I will give you some much needed advise, do some homework and look at who Huntingdon has been limiting to little or no offense the last 7or 8 weeks. You will find teams such as McKenzie, Milan, CAMDEN, Dresden and Gibson County. Now go compare what these schools have been doing to others outside 7AA. I have no discontent towards Camden and I wish them the very best throughout the playoffs but all roads lead back to 7AA if you want to play for a Gold Ball and everyone from Middle Tn to Memphis knows it!!
  18. Ok, Ok, Ok, We all know that Alcoa is absolutely loaded. I was at last yr's CS game and I like everyone else watched 2 teams absolutely run up and down the field with moves you only see on Sat/Sun football games. Now if you go back and look at what was posted last year about these 2 playing each other nobody was giving Huntingdon a chance to win. Now you Alcoa fans be truthful and admit that you were on the edge of your seats up until the last 2 minutes of the game. I guess all I'm saying is don't get too lost in what you've accomplished thus far and forget about those talented football players over here in West Tn. As far as D1 prospects go we also have several of those, I've seen no less than 5 scouts at Huntingdons last 3 games. Ours may not be getting the attention of Lindsey and the giant you have on the line but none the less they will play on Sat. just as Alcoas will. I predict that Huntingdon will get back to the CS game ( or the derby as we like to call it) and I'm sure Alcoa will be on the other side. The only down side is that week in and week out we will playing some very good football teams to get there and I don't think Alcoa has to play the Quality teams that we do through the playoffs. I don't know maybe that gives us the advantage, I hope we find out. I'll close with a Congrads to the Alcoa football team on what you've accomplished so far, after last year theres nothing but respect for ya'll over here in Carroll County! Go get em Mustangs !! PS. I think if you get a chance to see Chris Donald and Boo Weathers again you will see why we too think we can play with Alcoa!
  19. Thank you for clearing that up for this poor misguided soul Gcounty, hope all is well in Gibson County and that ya'll got the streaking problem under control. lol
  20. I would expect that prediction considering the source, don't be a hater, show some love for your fellow Carroll Countians. lol
  21. Ok fellow Mustang fans let's cut the kids from USJ some slack, after all it's not their fault that their parents are loaded and have a problem with the public school system. Now don't get me wrong I've been waiting ( just as ya'll have) since week 1 for this match up so that we could show those rich momma's and daddy's that our middle class kids can compete with their upper class kids. USJ I tell you this, Friday night you will see exactly why Huntingdon has been and will continue to be one of the biggest dogs in West Tn. We have a saying here that goes Tradition never Graduates and you will understand what that mean's when you arrive Friday. Being a future Mustang Dad I can also tell the USJ alumni that our future looks very bright. The one thing that USJ needs to remember is that in this region ALL the teams are rich in Football tradition and that's why everyone is calling this the Super Region. I have no doubt that USJ will go do whatever they need to do to be competative in this region and will at some point maybe even compete for the title. Caution this game will have violence and extreme contact, parental discretion is advised!!! If you have a weak stomach stay home, cause this will get down right ugly in a hurry!!!!! IMO
  22. Yes you beat H- Town early in the year and hats off to you for that, but the fact is we are a much better football team now than we were then. I can't speak for the rest of the Blue Nation but I would love to see Westview again and I know from talking to some of the boy's that they also look foward to possible rematch. No disrespect intended to Westview, (you beat us) but having seen you,us and now Milan I would have to agree that you are the 3rd best team in this region right now. IMO
  23. Great defensive football game by both teams. Good luck Milan and go get those Chargers for us!!
  24. This one is for all the marbles, ought to be a slobber knocker. H-Town looked impressive tonight as did Milan, it doesn't get any better than when these two tie up!! Go Stangs !!
  25. This one got ugly in a hurry, stay focused stangs you'll nedd a full 4 quarters next week. Great Job !!
