Well, I don't have a reccomendation to make about who the best first baseman is, but I do have somewhat of an input for this post. I played first base for four years when I was in High School, and let me tell you, it is NOT an easy job. I'm not posting this so that I will get credit or whatever, I'm simply posting this to tell people to try to focus on encouraging their first basemen. Many time's they make catches that may seem so easy to some people, but really they're hard to deal with. First basemen get teams out of a lot of trouble with picks and so on. Anyway, this all just goes to say, encourage your firstbaseman. They usually don't get the credit they deserve and it is SO hard to play softball and have fun when no one EVER tells you good job.
