I will go out on a limb here and say BA will play MBA in the chamionship (yawn) They should just go ahead and have a best of 10 game season between the 2 teams and get it over with. Sorry about the sarcasm but its like a heavyweight division that desperately needs some other teams to step up.

There is a kid from kentucky coming in who I have not seen but he started there?? Right now Orona is the man to beat out with his running and better passing ability than I thought he will be tough.Right now he is the QB Our defense is a blue collar type that while not flashy all are good tacklers This team is deep this yr with a lot of players while not super stars are easily interchangeable and coach shad will have a problem which is good to have, how to get playing time for a group that over all woks hard every day. Smotherman and especially Joiner have made great strides in the off season and Bryson is one of the strongest players on the team and played last yr. Hendiix played WR and had a couple of catches. Josh Crouch made a couple of good catches. Will Forkum looked real good with one td catch wearing number 2

G wave something better will take the TSSAA place? Could you please enlighten everyone as to who that would be. I'm sure everyone will want to lead an organization that is non profit and has members that sue when the organization enforces rules its own members put in place! I have experienced it personally many many years ago when the junior high team I was on dropped football because of insurance cost because the organization that had organized a few schools into a league ceased to exist and without it the schools could not afford the cost individually.You think it can't happen but it can. The TSSAA has done an outstanding job for many years keeping everything organized and above board with very little controversy over the years.Are they perfect no, only Gallatin is apparently. By the way the number of times I have been denied your rally cry "due process" is unbelievable just a few: Coach took me out for a quarter because I missed a block- the truth is based on our blocking scheme I blocked the correct man but I should have sued because I didn't get due process A teacher disagreed with my thesis during college and my grade was not a high as I would have liked and it hurt my GPA I should have sued no due process here. I would be willing to bet there are players denied" due process" at every gallatin football practice. If you really believe what you say every player should be allowed to have their day in court against the coach who did not let them give their side of the story.After all this may cause them playing time and a possible scholarship later! You played an ineligible player and got penalized for it move on.

Smyrna only has 2 sophmores who see quality playing time they are #34 Brock Willis Brock starts at RLB and plays alot of special teams, in the riverdale game CSS gave him the tennessean"CRUNCH OF THE WEEK" , Brock is also the youngest guy on the team besides the freshmen that stayed to practice with the team #58 Adam Smotherman starts on the o-line (G) and can play tacklr if needed and Smyrna has had over 2,000 yards rushing and also quite a few passing #71 Josh Bryson started early this year on the D-line but had an injury in the mid season and has not fully recovered since No freshmen start or see any playing time

I wll ask one question why was nunley not in the line after the game shaking hands he sort of stood off to the side as the teams shook hands and didn't shake hands after the game as his teammates did.

Worst case scenario Gallatin wins an injunction the TSSAA appeals it gets tied up in courts with ALL games on hold until the case can be heard. It takes to long to get the games in because of the delay (these things can take weeks) and like the world series the playoffs for 5a are cancelled! Be interesting to see where that Gallatin support on the board would go then! Be careful what you wish for in the form of an injunction you might just get it. The Gallatin motto then could be if we can't play no one can! Sometimes you try to beat the system as this family did and everyone loses

G Unit If all information was correct what rule did Gallatin break? If all info was 100% correct Gallatin should not forfiet 1 game and the TSSAA should write/ a public apology, as i said before.

I agree everybody Gallatin did the right thing, they even went above and beyond the call they sent the information in twice just to make sure the player was eldgible. The TSSAA approved him twice!!! All the information given to the TSSAA was 100% correct (since we have all seen a copy ofthe specific form turned in& researched to make sure it is correct). The TSSAA must have went back and read the info concerning the eldgibilty of the Gallatin player after an apparent tip from Mc Gavock, and decide that they were completely wrong on the ruling of the player. Not only were they wrong once but twice. Next year the TSSAA is going to incrase school fees so they may research every player to make sure they are legal. So next year the gate price might be a little higher to pay for these checks. I'm not saying that Gallatin sent in the wrong info but the wrong info was turned in. If the correct info was sent in there would be no problem. Who knows it could have been a miscommunication. And everyone saying the rule needs to be changed, it might be, but Gallatin still apparently broke the rule as written so they CHEATED i know thats a harsh word to use because it probaly was not intetional. But if the information most members on here give i think that Gallatin should not have to forfiet anygame and receive an apology from the TSSAA for being wrong because apparently everybody did everything right except the TSSAA. Also last thing if the problem is in the transfer form Gallatin should not have to forfiet, because that is the TSSAA fault.

I don't know the facts of it all but a few things are for sure TSSAA rules (RONNIE CARTER who inforces the rules made up by the TSSAA members) approved Shipley on the information he received. which is the correct decission apparently the question is was the information that was given to the TSSAA correct? I don't want to speculate but this is just my view on what can be gathered on the story. Just to let everyone know Gallatin beat us(smyrna) even if it's not on the record Just to let everyone know the move must be a bona fide move but the word bona fide means multiple things according to Microsoft Word genuine authentic real true valid above-board legetaminte and legal I say we all just need to wait it out and we will eventuall all find out the WHOLE story

I can't believe people think coaches would actually do this. I also don't beleive any player on Lavergne would do this either. In my opinion probably a student did this, the student was probably from Lavergne cause i couldn't see a Smyrna student doing this. I also don't beleive whoever did it, like i said probably a LHS student, would kill a dog I beleive the dog was already dead like reported in the paper and done as a prank commonly done during the week of the rivalry. I do beleive that this prank pushed it a little to far. Also if smyrna's coaches did this like Region4fan beleives why would the dog be picked up before 7 am and only a few people saw it. If it was done to get the players pumped they would have left it out. I really don't think this would do anything but get the smyrna players unfocused rather than focused. I beleive the smyrna players have enough to be pumped about not only is it LHS but we get a chanse to ruin there playoff hopes and beat them again on there home field KEEP THE TRADITION ALIVE 14:1

extremely clean game. i saw players helping each other up all night and very little smack talk between players. smyrna played well but we had 2 fumbles that cost us probably more scores (both in their territory) smyrna won (as i posted earlier) because blackman does not even have a threat of a passing game we had a linebacker at strong safety and disregarded pass all night. i can tell you wolke was hurt and could hardly walk earlier in he week. he did not try to take off up field one time during the game which is unheard of for him.
