  1. And yet you did. Congrats MUS. And yet you did. Congrats MUS.
  2. Franklin tries an onside kick, fails to convert, Brentwood has the ball at their own 46.
  3. I'll be at the game tomorrow, hopefully giving live updates as I can. If it isn't raining.
  4. I say its close early with Franklin Pulling away. Franklin 31- Brentwood 17 (or 21)
  5. I think it sends a message to parents not to send their kids to Austin East.
  6. I would say that MUS, Maryville, David Lipscomb and Alcoa would have something to say about that.
  7. Alright? I still stand by what I said. Once again, delusional.
  8. I would state that there have been years where Centennial had better teams than Franklin/Brentwood (see 2003, 2004), but didn't get it done on the field. This year, however, Centennial didn't have those types of teams. Delusional. Spell it with me, now. Delusional.
  9. We lost because both teams are better than we are. I've never stated otherwise. There are certainly factors to any win or loss, but I don't know of any Centennial fans that went into games against these teams and said "We're better than they are." If they did, they are foolish.
  10. Obviously, multiple participants in this thread have deemed the topic worthy enough to discuss, so how about you allow us to continue, and cease your diatribe?
  11. Scores between these two teams since 2001: Brentwood 24 Franklin 21 Brentwood 27 Franklin 24 Franklin 17 Brentwood 6 Brentwood 9 Franklin 7 Franklin 14 Brentwood 7 Brentwood 17 Franklin 16 Franklin 27 Brentwood 10 Franklin 24 Brentwood 21 Brentwood 19 Franklin 14 Brentwood 16 Franklin 8 Brentwood 14 Franklin 0 This game will be close.
  12. I know, right? Why should we even talk about potential factors of a game after it's played? How silly we, the mundane, are.
  13. Oh, I think both Brentwood and Franklin are better teams, but numbers plus great coaching equals results.
  14. No one is claiming that schools size is the ONLY factor, and there is no doubt that the points you listed are very valid. I think a very important stat to look at is how Centennial fared against Brentwood twice, and Franklin once, up until the 4th quarter. Brentwood week 1- 7-7 going into the 4th Franklin week 10 - 21-14 going into the 4th Brentwood week 12 7-6 10 minutes left in the 4th. Whether it be Coach Gregory draining numbers within the program (which I believe is a bigger factor) or simply school numbers, Centennial lacked depth to stay competitive in the end of games.
  15. That's wonderful, and it was also 1995. I didn't see either Franklin nor Brentwood winning championships back then, so I don't understand what in Jesus Christ's name your point is.
  16. The zoning happened a year after I left, and at that time, we had no gang violence, and no dress code. From what I hear, an increase in Mexicans has resulted in the disturbances. It's truly disconcerting to hear what's going on there, but as far as football is concerned, we've had lower numbers than the other schools as far back as 2004.
  17. Umm..Chicago features a plethora of beaches, as it shares an edge with Lake Michigan.
  18. I have no doubt that Centennial could beat Brentwood. However, they didn't. Franklin WILL beat Brentwood.
  19. Except that Franklin and Brentwood have already played, genius, and we've seen how well Brentwood's defense played.
  20. This game will be great, for multiple reasons. I predict overtime.
