  1. 1. I don't know 2. Not to the same extent, but to a certain point a think so 3. Centennial
  2. I'm not really saying anything. I guess I just find it interesting because this is their first year in 5A. It's still an accomplish to win 10 out of 10 games in the regular season. I don't think they will win the state and they'll be lucky to make it to the quarterfinal game. Either way, I think the fact that they are just moving up into 5A makes it a nice idea.
  3. Eh, I don' think they'll get anywhere close to Riverdale. I was at the Centennial, LaVergne game, and while you guys completely dominated us, a lot of that was pure bad tackling and bad playing in general. I think you'll play a close game with Wilson Central, but Riverdale has too many weapons for LaVergne to handle.
  4. Knowledge is power, and Lost Old Dad just layed the educational smackdown. Ok, in all seriousness, Siegel will earn respect from me if they can scrap their way into the playoffs. They are underdogs in my minds in a lot of region games this year. There is a lot of season left, and if they can upset teams such as Lebanon and Smyrna, I will definately agree that they are worthy.
  5. I assume Father Ryan played Ravenwood in a scrimmage. I won't go into how scrimmages are just that: scrimmages. Either way, Franklin wins huge.
  6. As much as I don't like to say it, itzme is 100% right(nothing against you, itzme, I just wish one of us public schools could actually get the win). Every Wil. Co. school, including my own Centennial, has failed to beat them year in and year out. This year is no different. They beat Ravenwood, who in my opinion is the best team in 6-5A(by one point, yes). Now if BA stumbles later in the year then I will not hesitate to drop them from the list. But they directly have the number one spot this week.

Oh, is this the part where I tell you my school and you insult it by telling me how you're team has beaten it? Well, my friend, I have no problem with Brentwood Admy. I openly said in the Wil.Co. thread that they are the best team in the county. However, Coach Flatt and the rest of the team shows decour and class. You, on the other hand, show niether. Therefore, I'd much rather watch them play good football, and see less of you talking useless nonsense on here.

Good. Please let the playing do the talking. We all know that is much more informative than you have been.

    haha, well I understand that.
  10. Very true. I think both high school and college football are doing just that. They constantly remind us during the games about the disaster in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama and give us the number to donate. At high school games cheerleaders stand at the gates asking for donations. I'm proud of how it's being handled.
  11. And they almost beat a Lincoln county team that is pretty good, regardless of the thumping they received from Franklin. All Warren has to do is win two region games. They'll beat Cumberland Co., and I think they will upset Coffee Co.

Bauber, just ignore the kid. He's completely befuddled and he can only insult to stay in the conversation. He doesn't know how to debate, so just forget him.
  13. haha, if they do what they did last year again this year I think they'll earn that title.
  14. True Dawgwriter, but it's things like sports that give us something to get away from the cruelties of the world. While we should all support our fellow Americans that are hurting at the moment, sports gives us something hopeful to look at. Football at any level is such an American tradition that it's almost patriotic to continue these events as a tribute that nothing can stop the normalties of The U.S.A.
  15. I agree with Lost Old Dad, though I would say that though Wilson Central in a notch or two below Riverdale, they are playing two or three notches above the rest of the region. Things can change at any time obviously, but thats where it stands right now.
  16. Those are all very good reasons indeed! I still think that Lebanon WILL lose to Cookeville. People call them overrated, but I actually see them as a bit underrated. They lost a close game against a great Ooltewah team and have played very well since then. Either way, we could very well see this matchup again in the first round of the playoffs. As for the other three, all toss ups. Centennial and Blackman are equally unimpressive and its basically going to be which team doesn't play as bad(Gosh I hate to say that). Smyrna and Columbia will be a nail biter. Dickson Co. and Hendersonville in my opinion will feature talent on the same level as the Centennial vs. Blackman game.
  17. Oh, they definately have the chance to make it. However, they HAVE TO win two out of three games against Smyrna, LaVerge and Lebanon to make it in a 4th spot in my opinion. Because that have the 1 loss to Siegel, I don't think they will make higher than that spot unless they win out against those 3 teams, which I don't think will happen.
  18. Tennessee High takes this one. I agree it will be closer than last year, but Tennessee is just a bit better than the 'Toppers. Tennessee High 23 Science Hill 17
  19. They do indeed. Might be a bit closer than most would think, but LaVergne has a good thing going. And I think it's going to go all the way to the playoffs!
  20. It's very plausible, my friend. I have to pick my upsets though, I'm saying this is one of them.
  21. I think it's interesting that the top 4(no matter what your order is) is miles above the bottom 5 in the county. This gap continues to widen as the years go on. While it dissapoints me because my Cougars are on the bottom half, I think it's less of the worse teams getting worse and more of the best teams getting better. Overall I think it's positive for Wil. Co. and hopefully the other 5 teams in the county will follow suit.
  22. lol so basically 4-5A over other regions(aside from the last pick, which doesn't apply)? I can see any of those games going either way. I just personally like region 6-5A better than 4-5A in head to head, and I think Cookeville will shut down Lebanon.
  23. haha please don't remind me! I'm just trying to stay positive. With so many sophomores starting this year on both sides of the ball, it hasn't looked good for a while now. I'm just hoping they can stay in some of those games and create an upset or two. Then again, with coach Gregory, it's hard to be too confident about anything.
