many of the newspapers doubted central this year. triccitessports always had ths ranked a head of central throughout the year even when central beat them twice in the regular season.

i wanna say congrats to the cougars for keeping their heads and pulling this one out tonight. its good to see this team make it to the district championship when so many people thought they couldnt compete at the aaa level. once again congrats and hope you play with that kind of heart the rest of the season. if you do anything can happen.

im a former central player that goes to ut and i was wondering if someone could keep on updating the score. thanks to anyone who is willing to do it.

I agree this was one of the best high school games ive seen. both teams played with great intensity and the game had a championship like atmosphere. souths big men were the difference but give the smaller central squad credit for battling the whole game and never letting south run away with it. i wish the best of luck to both teams in the upcoming post season.

tn high did play a good first half, but in the second half they totally broke down. all ive heard about this team is how good of a defensive team they were and they didnt show that in the second half letting keenan get many easy looks inside. goose and shaud had good games but other than that i wasnt impressed with this tn high team.

central was winning most of the game and could never put the indians away. i think central got tired and it showed in the 4th bc they started to miss shots they normally hit while db was shooting layups. give credit to the indians for scrapping and playing all 4 quarters.

i agree with ArtVandalay and im glad to see this one time great rivalry renewed. i know ill be making the trip from knoxville to see this one.
