IMO this team is not as sound as the team last year..........

Let's not count Sycamore down for the count just yet. They are just a tweak or two away from being a really good team. Let's just hope the tweaks come in time............

Actually the Indians could very likely go 4 - 1 before they hit the wall. And by wall I mean the last five games of their season. All District games: Greenbrier; White House; Sycamore; Westmoreland; White House Heritage. As for the Cubs, I hope that they can find a way to turn their season around, but, they could very well finish their season out at 2 - 8.

That Freshman team did indeed slaughter teams, but, I will always remember that freshman game and looking on the WH sidelines wondering if they really did have 40 or so freshmen......

Yes, I have seen your FC, P and MC games and as expected, Westmoreland will come with a good, solid team. I do think that I see a few chinks in their armor when comparing to the last few years. Should be a pretty evenly matched contest with (of course) Sycamore pulling it out for the win..........

Wow guys, I wish you guys had told the rest of the district that you were going to play the district championship in week 2. You could have saved everyone a lot of time and trouble...........

Creekwood did beat Dickson, but, I am sure that Dickson is way down this year and it was a very emotional game that anything can happen. I think the real Creekwood showed up against Cheatham.

We have seven returners on offense and six defensive returners. We had the good fortune of having (4) kids transfer in that will contribute, three on both "O" and "D".

Last time I checked everyone on this page is allowed an opinion. I gave mine. I am sure that no one will give anyone the "W", but, I still get to have my opinion.............

I think that it is going to be a great game. I don't know that much about Westmoreland this year, but, Sycamore is a better all round team than last year, with much stronger senior leadership and returning a lot of talent. The game against Whites Creek didn't show us much except that we could play against bigger, faster kids and be fine. TC is a very solid team and this game was very helpful in pointing out areas that need tweaking. This was a game that belonged to Sycamore for the taking, but, it didn't happen and that is why we play the game. Everyone at Sycamore has been looking forward to this game for a while. We will be there cheering our War Eagles on. I feel like it will be a close one, but, I gotta go with my War Eagles.

In the past, Sycamore has only charge for reserved parking and/or Season passes. The "for fee" reserve lot was next to the entrance gate and Limited season passes were within the gates so that you could watch the game from your vehicle if you chose.

Week 2 brings on big time District Games: Cheatham Co. vs. Harpeth White House Heritage is Open Sycamore vs. Westmoreland Greenbrier vs. White House

It was a great game. A few plays here or there, like the stop on the 2" line on the opening drive (from up top it sure looked like he was in and got pushed back) and the blocked field goal that sent it into OT, this game could definitely have gone either way. This was just the kind of non-conference game that Sycamore needed to prepare for a great season. Best of luck and stay healthy.

I watched the CA and MC game and CA looked really good. Of course, that doesn't mean anything since MC is not playing very well. Harpeth might even have a chance in getting a victory against them. But, I did hear that CA had a RB transfer in that was good. I saw WHH in the jamboree and they too looked solid. I think it should be a good game. I'm going with CA in this one.

I hope so. This is pretty boring so far. As fired up as I am about football starting up, I find the silence amazing!

Wow, I would have never thought that there would be so little conversation from this group. Is this quiet optimism or "let's keep our mouth shut cause we ain't so sure".........
