48-22 Signal

Does anyone want to comment on last nights game? Signal looked pretty good even though they had 5 turnovers. South Pittsburg had some good athletes as well.

How do you know Baylor wouldn't whoop those teams?

Actually the two young guys on the line weigh the most (Tyler Watson 250 and Joe Scott 240). Mattew Patton is about 230 or so and McClain Still is about 225 or so. I think Walker Deakins is the smallest at about 210. They are getting better every game and it helps to have a guy like Coop behind them. Still and Patton started last year so they do have some experience.

Great post jon26. I beg to differ on the the Baylor line. They have 3 seniors and average around 230 to 240. Not to small and they are doing a great job. Wouldn't you agree?

Fist of all I think McCallie has a great team, maybe the best in the state (will wait and see how that works out). My comments were directed at you because I have yet to see any remark from you that wasn't negative and condescending toward Baylor and their players. I admire McCallie and the year they have had so far. I'm also extremely proud of Baylor and what they have accomplished considering the fact that this was supposed to be somewhat of a rebuilding year. Now back to the statement at hand. Coop is a great back and no one has really slowed him down this year. BA did the best job of any team this year!!

McCallie certainly didn't stop Cooper and BA did a better job than McCallie. Lets get by MUS first!

I agree, they didn't do the same things they did in the first half. That is the problem. They should have stuck with Cooper running and Massey throwing. If we don't take a huge loss on that reverse in the 3rd quarter and score it probably would have been real close. I'm not saying Baylor wins it just might have been a pretty tight score. The final outcome is not true of the game.

Give me a break. If Baylor would have stuck with the game plan they had in the first half it probably would have been real close.

I don't know if I would give it up for there line or BJ. I think there line is average but BJ gets rid of the ball and uses in athleticism to prevent sacks Baylor's offensive line as really improved as a unit. Of course it helps to have a 240 pound back behind you.

First off they certainly didn't dominate the game. A play or two in the third quarter(specifically the reverse) and this could have been much much closer! I think BJ is a great quarterback with a wonderful future ahead of him but friday night was Bradford's night. He is a great athlete on both sides of the ball.

Where do they play those 4 games? I know Baylor is in Chattanooga!

I don't care how many times you give to Poindexter or Conney they are not in the same class as Cooper!

I agree it is always difficult to travel across the state. I think MUS has a pretty talented defense but may lack the explosiveness on offense. Remember they lost there starting tailback and offensive and defensive coordinators. This will probably be a close game and I think it comes down to how Massey reacts going back home as quarterback. Baylor is due for a division II upset. This just might be the one!!!

Enjoy this year because after you lose all your skill players I think Massey will reverse this trend over the next 5 to 10 years!

Well if your using the RB scrimmage has your gauge there is your problem. By now means did RB dominate that scrimmage. As a matter of fact they only scored once and Baylor should have scored if the center had not centered the ball over the QB's head. It was a pretty equal scrimmage!
