I could not agree anymore. I sick of hearing about Monterey calling the RBS pitcher names. Thats a bunch of bull. Speaking of sportsmanship ask the RBS coach what his going to do if Monterey waves the bats up and down next year. Qoute " when we get our pitching down were going to hit them in the face". Yea thats spotsmanship. Oh what about the kid fron HS that kept telling Ashley to lick his tater. Seams to me you guys have a bunch of rude fans,coaches, and parents. If you dont know the facts dont post second hand info. Bad calls, get a rule book and read it. A defensive player has a right to make a play on the ball and not get ran over. Everyone is saying Monterey does not deserve to be district champs. Well they worked just as hard as every other team. They won you lost end of story.

Monterey lost 41-0 They end up with second in the reigeon. There was a three way tie for second, but they had the best over all record.

This will be a good game, but G-ville will come out on top. Clay County has the edge up front on the line. I beleive the Dusty Ray show will pull them out of this one.

OK Mr. Polesit, 104.5 is great when they are not broadcasting a car race on friday night. You should careful what you say about certian areas. The Coach T Blood hounds will be hot on your trail agian !

What are the best radio stations to listen to for scores on friday nights.

The same story week after week. FCS actualy does not recruit. Do they advertise to atheletes across the country. What would happen to public school coach if he where to do this. Do any of the atheletes in private schools get finachinal aid, if they do is this a form of recuiting. Do they play under the same rules as public schools, check the TSSAA handbook. It would nice to see school A play school B under the exact same rules, Then if one school gets the better athelte so be it.

How will Monterey match up with RBS. They scored 26 points on Watertown. Was this aginst Watertowns 1st string. Does anyone have any info on this.

yea! Recruiting thats the key word. Amazing how they get that caliber of athletes out an enrollment of 400 students K-12.

congrats to Lady Wildcats on outstanding season. The team made great improvements this year. set your goals higher each year, you gals are gonna make it. everyone in Monterey is very proud of the team. Good luck next year.

Monterey wins over Hermitage Springs 12-3. Montrery played a great game. Once again good job girls. One thing I have to admit HS has got to be the best sport in the district win or lose. On the other hand reg season, Distict Tourney, Region Tourney, Sub state does not matter. Winning the state Championship is the only thing that counts if you want to get technical about the situation. Our girls had a great regular season and we the people from Monterey a very proud of them. Our bracket system stinks for the district tourney. 1st gets a 1st round bye 2nd vs 3rd, 4th vs 5th. Teams play regular season to be seeded higher in the bracket. Makes no sense to me why they do it this way! [Edited by xplay20 on 5-1-03 8:49P]

Monterey rebounded from the Smith Co. loss with a big district win over Red Boiling Springs 4-3. Great job girls.

MHS was lost bad to a over powering Smith Co. team 0-11. Smith Co. has got a very good team great defense and a very strong offense. Better luck next timegirls.
