I would say their history is better than good and the team this year is better than good. Memphis area has strong select/travel programs, and many very good teams in all classifications.

Not really true. Most teams that are good year after year have strong jv programs. It is the natural flow for most players. 1 or 2 years of JV is not uncommon for many teams. You will always have exceptions.

Centennial has an excellent keeper, this gives them more than a chance. Conventional wisdom says the Bruins. However, if centennial can play responsible in the middle of the field, and play a "wide" game, coupled with defensive help, it could be interesting. C has enough speed and skill to score. I think that this could be a better game than most people think.

I still have not heard if this score is correct. Part of me does not want to post because it will take the thread to the top. However, if the score is correct and that is an if, some coach needs to re-evaluate the impact, purpose and design of high-school team sports. There are no excuses for a score like the one proposed as factual. If this is true, I will not say.....
