It has been very quiet in L'burg on this weeks game not to mention on here. Could this be the quiet before the storm? Just wanted to mention that the Quarter Back Club is hosting a fish fry Friday night. The hours are 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Tickets are $10.00 includes meal, drink and dessert. They hope to have a big turn out.

I total agree with mctigermom come on out and wear your face paint and colored hair. Surely you can't be sent home from the football game for wearing it there. Just don't stand in front of coach b. he don't like not being able to see the game. As some of you were told last friday night Let's just have a good time and support those Tigers! and make some noise.

The students are not encouraged to make noise and support their team. They are even discouraged during pep rallies to yell and make noise. The kids say the pep rallies are like going into a grave yard. On Monday when the homecoming court was announced they where repeatedly reminded that they where not allowed to clap or yell for the class attendents. This control thing with the administration is even used at graduation when parents and students are not allowed to clap when the students name is called out. It is dead slience in there when it should be the loudest and happiest times. So how are the kids suppose to get fired up when they are repeatly told to be quiet?

Prayers go out to MC Tiger Cameron Evans and his family. He has a torn spleen, he was injuried in the game Friday night. He is still in the hospital and looks to be there until some time this next week.

Couldn't agree with you more mctigermom! Looking for a great Senior Year for these guys. Will have to wait and see where life takes these young men but they all have great futures ahead of them on and off the field.

Last Friday nights game looked like the old days Oneal, Hightower, Woodside, Binkley, Murphy, Greer and Braden these kids have played together since pee wee brought back alot of memories. I think Marshall Co stays on top again this week.

Jake Morris will be the new quarterback. He is a sophomore. Gower is looking at 4 to 6 weeks recovery at least. Only hope is Morris will mature quickly. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for Marshall County. It looked like MC might of had a good chance this year but this will set them back big time. The jamboree will be a chance to look at their new qb. He only has 6 days to gain the confidence and respect of his line. Lets hope he can get it together.
