  1. WBBJ just reported that McKenzie won 34-26. I had to find this thread to ensure this was a mistake. WBBJ... SMH...
  2. This game was once called by the Jackson Sun, "West Tennessee's biggest gate of the year". More people would turn out to watch Bruceton and Huntingdon than anywhere else. Here's hoping next Friday makes everyone remember why.
  3. Any Huntingdon fan like me knows from experience that if you go into Bruceton expecting an easy win, they will shock you. Huntingdon should win, but they can expect the Tigers to leave it all on the field and Huntingdon will have to as well.
  4. I agree with Kermit. I wanna personally apologize on behalf of Mustang fans for the fan that yelled out "Good Job, Mustangs!" while the whole stadium was SILENT while the injured players were being looked over. Huntingdon is much classier than that. Whoever that was does not represent us. I hope everyone at NCS is ok.
  5. Thanks for making the trip. We love our Mustangs in Huntingdon, but the stadium, tradition, fan base was all built over many many years. I was pleased to see that your players losing with class and not taking dirty shots or anything like that towards the end. Can't say that for everyone we've played. You have an up and coming program that we haven't heard the last of.
  6. These Nashville Christian Posters are adorable. I don't see why there needs to be a 30 page thread explaining why they will win. I don't have anything to say... Just set back and watch what happens. Turkey was served yesterday, tonight Crow will be served.
  7. I like these Nashville Christian posters. Good smack talk. Only thing to do is show up Friday night and see what happens. I just hope the Mustangs don't think they are as big of a favorite as this thread suggests. It's a single-elimination tournament.
  8. EVERYONE from Huntingdon isn't acting emotional. It's not like Huntingdon just all happened to overreact the exact same way. Kent Jones called it a cheap shot as well and while he is admittedly a homer, he doesn't usually say things like that on the air. Those players knew Fields and knew that he was limping and just kicking at that point. The player made a bad decision. It was stupid, he's probably not a bad kid, but he got caught up in the disappointment of the hard fought game slipping out of his hands. It was a stupid moment but he should have pay the consequences.
  9. Trenton is a classy place filled with classy people. I truly love the town. However, you can't defend that player's actions. goldentide, he's not just Huntingdon's kicker. He plays both sides of the ball and is maybe Huntingdon's best defender. Being able to kick it into the endzone every time is an added bonus. He is the heart and soul of the team, and last year's team. That players actions is not a reflection on Trenton, no one needs to try to make that claim. He should've been ejected and I hope Coach Gaddis deals with him.
  10. Mckenzie fans have a real inferiority complex when it comes to Huntingdon. That one win over us every ten years means so much to them, I wouldn't doubt they have banners in the gymnasium commemorating it. Here we have Mckenzie fans posting on threads that does not even pertain to Mckenzie. Heck, Huntingdon built a bypass just so they wouldn??™t have Mckenzie folks driving through the town. Now, the invention of the internet, and Huntingdon still has to put up with them. I hear Calvin Klein has a new scent devoted to just McKenzie??™s attitudes towards Huntingdon??¦ it??™s called ???Obsession???.
  11. Not trying to make excuses. I am taking nothing away from Camden, but did Ethan Parham ever come back into the game after he came out? I know Logan Sellars and Cedric Harris were seeing a lot of time on the O-line tonight.
  12. Yo, Congrats man. This one hurts for Huntingdon fans. Maybe we can rebound. Hope to see ya'll again in the playoffs.
  13. The sad thing about message boards... they let anyone post on them. Yeah.. Huntingdon is in the Middle of nowhere... about 20 miles from Milan.
  14. Gee, I remember 98 Victor Kidd getting the benefit of a no-call false start penalty. I also remember Milan players doing the D-X "S--- it" motion to the Huntingdon fans. I also remember the Milan flag runner running across the field in front of the Huntingdon fans.
