  1. BB1033

    Best JR in TN

Ben Daniels? I cant believe he would even me mentioned with Golden Tate or Ty Ford.
  2. For all those who picked BA to lose this game, bad choice. Baylor wasnt as good as people say they are. McLendon didnt do much of anything neither did Kevin Cooper. Ba's defense looked impressive only allowing one TD and shut down Cooper completely. Cody Romans threw 3 or 4 interceptions too. Ba looked great and stays undefeated.
  3. Brentwood Academy's Bill Kottas should be at the top of everyones list of the best WR in middle TN. Although undersized, he has blazing speed (4.4 to be exact) and amazing hands. He may not look like the typical receiver but dont underestimate him. As a sophomore he was selected to the D-II All-State team, Tate wasnt the only one. The catch Kottas made against Ravenwood was one of the best catches ive ever seen. I dont know much about any of the other receivers on the list, but id put Kottas in with any of them.
  4. MBA showed heart tonight by stopping the late drive of Trinity, good job. After giving up 62 points, the defense looked a little better. Trinity was not the powerhouse like Byrnes, odviously they arent the same team as they were two years ago, but they didnt look that good. Im not too impressed with the offense. Dont get me wrong, Andy Snyder is a great back and MBA's best offensive player, but who else is there? Couple of questions for the Big Red nation: -In the game against Byrnes, Cordell came in for a while and looked better the Howell, could he see some starts in the future, or is it all Howell? -Is Ben Bartholemew starting at linebacker? The test for MBA will be when the Owls roll into town next Friday. We'll see if MBA can keep the win streak alive, should be another exciting one like tonight. Good luck next week and on the season Big Red.
  5. I'll take BA in this one. They proved, that despite playing sloppy, they can still win. With victories over Ravenwood (who was picked to beat the Eagles) and Hillcrest, MS, I think the Eagles will add another W and stay undefeated, for now.
