As if Fayetteville needed another RB. But hey cornersville folks I’ve been doing some research and I’m curious if the Wyatt Archaeological Museum is worth the visit?

Taye goes on a visit to Vanderbilt tonight. He will be there to see another MC running back Jacob Saylors playing for ETSU.
Has to be exciting for him!
Is he going for Vandy, or is ETSU recruiting him? Either way, good luck to the young man. Just to be able to play at the next level is a blessing.

Any update?
From his wife:
I just spoke with the nurse and Mikes oxygen is staying around 94 with the bypap but drops to low-mid 80s if he takes it off for water . His respiration's are in the high 20s which is better than he has been in a couple of days his heart rate is in the 50s . The nurse says he is comfortable and doesn't seem anxious. They still have him at 100% and expect that he will stay there today because he is so exhausted. Please continue to pray because the next few days are very crucial with the bypap being maxed out . Please pray he can get rest, keep his anxiety at bay and continue to be able to control his respiration's. Thank you . His nurse said she will call if he has any changes . Thank you !

Regardless this is gonna be a short season

The holding call we get a lot is behind the play. Maybe it’s because of our quickness or speed, but every time we break a 20-30 yard run or longer we always get called for holding around the LOS long after the runner is gone down the field. Like, the flag is not thrown literally until the runner is 30 yards away. And what I’ve noticed happens a lot is we are engaged in a block, but then last second somehow the defensive guy spins around so our hands end up on the backside of the shoulder pads then all we do is push off, yet we get called for holding away from the play. It has no effect on the play…ugh!

Any updates on The Main Event Man ? Been heavy on my heart since this was posted!
Here is an update from about 20 minutes ago from his wife:
Mike is still on the vaportherm and oxygen and seems to be still be doing ok . He was very mentally alert talking to the therapist about family so that is also a plus . Not much change since the morning update . I did see him do his physical therapy and he was very tired after. When he sleeps they add a non rebreather to help hold his levels even if his mouth opens . So while I don't have much news at least it is not bad news .

Basin should win but don’t count Whitwell out in this one. Nothing personal Commander but I’m taking Whitwell with the upset by 6

Another cancelation due to Covid issues within the LV team. This game will NOT be rescheduled.
Ugh it’s bad everywhere especially East Tennessee it seems.

You guys catch the oakland game sat.
Yep, they are a monster! Us against them will be like us against LV, except we won’t be the victor.

This game should be game of the week for our area. I look for Jasper to pull it out late. 28-13

It’s unfortunate. Our county, Marion County, has one of the if not the highest of known COVID cases in the school system. Maybe it will hit hard early and then allow us to play the latter half of the season including playoffs.

Hey Coacht family please pray for our football brother Mike Molder. He is battling COVID in the ICU. Per his wife she said I could post this. We need prayers. @CoachT

Last year I was extremely impressed with Bowman. That young man has a motor that never quits. If he can have a big game then I believe Monterey pulls this one out by 10.

Glad to see Mckenzie back at it. I’ve tried researching this region, and I agree with y’all. It’s weak but I’ve seen crazy things happen before. Especially this season and last with Covid. Good luck to everyone. I just hope we all get to play.

We will see a lot of kids getting playing time in this game. We played 31 different players against SC. I believe we will get everyone in this one. SP by 60

This is a joke of a non region game. Oliver isn’t a good team. You will win by 40.
Considering they surprised a lot of folks last year, I would have thought differently. Based on what some said about coaches and players quitting earlier makes me wonder what happened. However, Gordy is much better than last season too…as long as they can stay healthy. I wonder about their depth. With that said, I agree with you, Gordy by 40.

I left 4 unpicked. I thought I did them because I even told my brother afterwards WHO I picked lol. Oh well. Maybe I can make it up with win % down the road.

I agree. The toughest thing about my list is there's a lot depth of good quality teams in West Tennessee. You can make a case for each team to reach the semifinal game on Black Friday. If I have to put McKenzie in at a spot, it'll be at #7. As we all know, that doesn't mean McKenzie is better than teams 8-12. It's more of a "power rankings" list.
And the list is t just 1A or 2A. It’s all classes West.

That’s a clear and great video. I know a parent that has a couple angles of videos, but this one is good too because of the slow motion. I bet they’d like to have the ability to save this one in their memories on Facebook.

Agree, these kids want to play.
Yep the kids and coaches will always choose to play if given the option. The kids need it. The world needs it.

We have a ton of skill players but need a lot more game time in the trenches. We have a long ways to go there.
