  1. dude you riding with me down Wednesday?

  2. I'm pumped about this tournament. I hope all the other teams' fans have as much school spirit as Hampton because Single A basketball games should be as rowdy as possible.
  3. Why all the hate for East Tennessee? Hampton has made a couple state title runs in basketball, football, and baseball in the past. Cloudland pretty much owned football in the early 2000's, and are now in the b-ball state tournament; and Unaka is an annual visitor to Murphreesborough in baseball. we have good teams, good players, and good coaches, and while we hate each other in the regular season, we all band together and support the local teams no matter who they play. Good luck to Hampton AND Cloudland next week. Bring that championship back to Carter County.
  4. I hope Cloudland and Hampton avoid each other until deep in the tournament. I was born and raised a bulldog, but i'm proud of what both clubs have accomplished; and i dare any other game to be as exciting as a lander/dawg rivalry game.
  5. Hampton Cloudland Perry Co CSAS Middleton Summertown Lake CO Clay CO
  6. When is the Hampton State game?
  7. i played 2 hand touch with him the other day...he was makin cuts and was actually runnin pretty good, but he told me he had a partially torn acl and thats nothin to laugh at. i know if it was up to him he would have played against cloudland, but thats all i know.
  8. we're from hampton...around here we know our local boys from our local teams...honestly i aint never heard about sp, as you put it, until a couple weeks ago. but lets talk about them in a later board. this is about this friday's hampton game.
  9. i graduated in 06 so i know and love all of them boys like brothers, and i'm sure that the guys posting for the other teams feel just as strong about their team. I'd love to see h-town take it all the way, but until then i'll be standin at the 35 yard line, screamin my guts out, doin the part of any loyal fan. see yall there
  10. i've read through this entire board and all i see is pujo defending his claim with the upmost respect for both teams, but every time he says something he gets bashed. just remember that this board is about the game on friday, and not about whether or not past games and stats can be considered. keep it up pujo and congrats to michael on player of the week. btw bulldogs 28 injuns 14 (2 touchdowns. is that too big of an insult?)
  11. i'm sure everyone in hampton feels very sympathetic for the guy. football is our passion up here in these hills, but we are good sportsmen. God bless man, hope your recovery is quick and everything gets back to normal soon.
  12. unakafan07 i agree with you 100 %...no team in the district has made all the plays in the field or has made the best out of their visits to the plate. we have not been able to capitolize in the batter's box as good as we should be, and this puts extra pressure on the defensive side, causing the errors...and i am sure the same is true for you guys. if the Hampton Bulldogs get their bats hot, and the Rangers get their gloves back there would be no stopping either team. both of us are sound and lack in a couple departments, but a lil practice can cure us of all that. g/l in the future and since we're in the north greene topic i'd like to say congrats on yalls first round win over cloudland, it was a really good game.
  13. yea i guess it did show since we lost by only 1 point...alot better than yall did...but no matter who we played in the season just the fact that we played over 35 games this year has made us better and has continuously pounded the fundamentals into our heads (something that yall need despirately). and if we can just seem to find a way to hit Tee (who is a fenominal pitcher) and make yall make plays in the field your done for. but like i said i have alot of respect for yall i have alot of friends on the team. i wish yall the best of luck
  14. rangerbook your braggin about playin hv...hampton plays hv and came within 2 runs...from what i can recall unaka got thumped by em. and after friday's game i think that unaka has alot more respect for hampton, it was a really good game and both teams played their hearts out...i got respect for both sides
  15. haha, yea i guess that that little fact doesn't change no matter where you go. i hope that tssaa will send their best refs out for this one cuz i want a game that is determined by the final score not a bad call. to all the tc guys God bless and have a safe trip up here. and to all the bulldog players...GIVE EM HECK
  16. Your right this aint kansas, this is Tennessee, and this game isn't gonna be played in the rolling hills of the central, its gonna go down in the mountains of the east where the air is thin and the winter storms that are rollin in are bitter. yall will have a suprise when you get up here and ur qb's cant feel their arms. its a whole new game here and believe it or not, we're ready for yall.
  17. I'll give you this, we haven't seen alot of passing this year, but there is a reason for that. our secondary is probably one of the strongest and fastest in the league. They know how to cover, defend, block, catch and run the ball. If you plan on throwing that much then dont be suprised if your qb has to be taken out at the half for all the turnovers he throws, if he makes it that long without gettin hurt. our secondary is definately not whats gonna hurt us in this game
  18. Lucas Roark is prolly one of the best all round players i know. He can qb, catch, and tackle, but he is best known for his blinding speed...without roark the dogs would lose a powerhouse on the field, and a crutial part of their lockeroom atmosphere!!!
  19. I've read this entire board and i'm feeling the same way as Jackets fan in Chatt. I dont think that we should spend our time trash talkin each other on the net, but we should be workin at facing each other on the field. as for the game itself i believe that Hampton isn't playing the game for the title, they are playing for the fans that have been behind them during the bad times and finally the good. if tc ran the score up to 91-0 against one of their opponents then they aren't interested in anything but their reputation. stop the trash-talk and bring ur best friday...gl to the bulldogs and God bless to everyone involved o yea and Jackets fan in chatt...Doe River Gorge isn't but 5 minutes up the road from our Football field.
  20. Dawgs have this one for sure...i mean our line out weights them by at least 200 lbs. and our offence is going to give the best teams around trouble. this will be another game where our varsity will only see one half of play, and our jv gets some valuable playing time...mark one up for the bulldogs.
  21. i was at the game last night, and i thought the bulldogs did a fantastic job of doin what they do best...running. If i was the coach i would have kept my starters in the entire game and worked on some passes. they threw the ball once to #18 for a 2 pt. conversion, and let their second string pass once. i think that his decision to not work on pass plays will certainly hurt the team when they have to play some teams like Happy Valley and Coalfield.
  22. I think the loss the Bulldogs took last friday is just what they needed. it showed that they are still mortal, and that they can be beat. they have worked on their mistakes and will come out swinging with everything they have against Jellico. i just wish i could go to the game and see what they come up with
