  1. I think that MC can win this game, but I don't expect an easy win. It will take a lot of hard work by the MC players and coaches this week and a game with no turnovers and very few mistakes by the raiders. Where in McMinnville will the game be played?
  2. Congratulations to MC on another win, 5 in a row, that's great. How long since MC has been 5-0? Work hard this week for a another big game next week at McMinnville. They will be out to get MC for sure.
  3. My head says Eagleville, but my heart says Community. I would like to see the Vikings win a few more games this year. Coach Frost has worked hard there for several years.
  4. I can't see Huntland defeating Cascade....
  5. MC wins this week, but in order to keep winning they need to start playing good football for 4 quarters on both sides of the ball.
  6. Moore County wins after playing a mistake filled first half. They played better in the 2nd half and won by a score of 45-22.
  7. If he is, he picked MC to lose last week at Eagleville.
  8. I think Cascade wins, but it won't be as easy as MTCS.
  9. I'm a Moore County fan and I'm glad they're in the top 10, but polls don't really mean anything. They are just someone's opinion. The only thing that really matters is where a team is after 10 games and how many wins they have then.
  10. Yea, he's a very good player, but he also seems to be a great young man.
  11. I don't think MC is good enough to look past anyone, but they should beat East Robertson if they play a decent game. The only team that East Robertson has defeated has an 0-3 record that has been out scored 132-29 in three games. Good Luck Raiders. Work hard and play hard again this week.
  12. East Robertson is 1-2 and has been shut-out twice. MC is 3-0 and is coming off a hard fought win over Eagleville. Who wins? I say MC.
  13. According to Coach Carson's account of the game in The Daily News Journal, Eagleville won the game 27-25 and should have won by three touchdowns. To bad for Eagleville, the officials didn't see it that way. By the way, MC had some big plays called back too.
  14. Congratulations to Moore Co on a big win; to both the offense, the defense and to several players who finished the game hurt but still playing hard. The defense seened to play much better this week with the defense also scoring a touchdown. According to the CoachT schedules this is the best start to a MC season since 2003. Keep working hard and playing hard.
  15. I,m telling you some of the games in middle TN were moved weeks ago, before we ever heard of this storm, to avoid playing on Friday when the vols were playing. I'm not a ut fan, but i have several friends that are and they don't understand moving the high school games to Thursday either. On Friday, some of the coaches may wish that they had the extra days practice.
  16. A bunch of games were already moved before this storm was even formed. Most say to avoid a conflict with the ut game in GA. I still don't understand any coach worth his salt costing his team a day of practice just so they can sit at home on Friday night and watch ut get whipped. They will have plenty of chances to see that this year. Heck, Tech might even beat them now that Da Rick has moved there.
  17. The Wayne County team is the reigning state champ from last year, that doesn't mean much this year.
  18. I think MC has lost the last two meetings by a total of 6 points. I believe the MC defense inproves from last week and MC gets the win.
  19. We are always praying for the players this time of year. Special prayers will go out on behalf of this family, friends, and all the coaches and teachers.
  20. I sat on Wayne County's side and yelled for them at Cookeville, but I'm just saying that when you don't prepare any players for the next year you better be ready for a long year and expect everyone to take advantage of your weakness. Maybe that's why most single A teams don't repeat.
  21. Then why didn't some current players get some playing time somewhere along the way?
  22. Almost every Wayne County post that I have read on this thread or the Union City thread talks about how Wayne County players don't have any game experience and after watching the MC game, I'm sure that's true. Just a thought, but maybe the Wayne County coaches should have played some 10th and 11th grade players last year when they averaged beating 14 teams by 23.3 points per game and defeated 7 of those 14 teams by more than 30 points per game. This year Wayne County may reap what they sowed last year.
  23. Who knows what Cornersville has. Some years they are tough and some not. From what I've heard, MC beat an inexperienced Wayne County team last night. WC didn't look very good. MC just needs to keeping working and preparing hard each week and not look past anyone.
  24. I don't think that MC scored on any of the 1st half fumble recoverys. Maybe one, but I don't think so.
  25. Congratulations to MC coaches and players on a good game. Keep working hard,
