For CAK, Rushing- Terry Bowland 220 yards on 31 attempts, Recieving - Jeremy Park 209 yards on 13 catches, passing - Richard Harb - 792 yards on 124 attempts and 65 completions, 3 interceptions, 9 TDs. These are as of last Friday 9/23.

Sorry Podge, Alcoa is a great team, but to state that they could beat most if not all of 4A and 5A teams, just shows me your lack of football knowledge, could they beat certain 4A or 5A teams?, yes, but not most or ALL of them, No!!

Whats in store from this game?

When is Alcoa going to stop being satisfied playing in 2A and step up to 3A, they clearly have the talent, what more can they achieve in 2A?

Just watched the re-play of last nights game, it appears that the ball did come in contact with the ground, but the ref was at a bad angle, it was a close call, but after seeing the replay it was a tough call, at his angle it looked like a good catch. As for the rest of the game, what does stand out, is the fact that JC could have been called for at least 3 flat out holding calls, but were'nt, when you have the visiting team with that amount of calls going against them, and the home team has only 5 penalties, it does seem a bit odd, I'm sure after the coaches see the game film, they'll know for sure.

SKEWBY, i'm not trying to ruffle your feathers or making a statement that these two kids are in fact the best runnng backs in the state, it was a reply that was posted stating that OS has not faced a caliber running back that matches up to the kid from Kingston, In My Opinion, these two backs are as good as the kid from Kingston, I have not seen him play yet, I may feel different after Friday night. I don't know if either kid could play on the next level, but I also don't know how you know they could'nt. I was at CAK middle school game last week, they look like they could play varisity ball, right now, there big and fast!! Also, Kingsport DB should be in the thick of things by next year, and Halls seems to be loaded with underclassmen.

Jake Johnson from Oliver Springs is a special kicker, just a a soph, should have a good career ahead of him.

The stats posted have Brandon Davis leading rusher in 1A regional, 612 yards on 82 attempts, Weslley Smith from Scott Co leading 3A regional with 792 yards on 79 attempts, maybe my source is wrong, I really don't know.

Its hard to say who is the best, I think you have to consider who has the most impact on the field for there team, with that said, I think you have to include the Justice twins at Oliver Springs.

Oliver Springs schedule has the Kingston game on Monday Sept. 26, the game is actually on Friday Sept. 23 at OS.
