Thanks for the support, dadof4. I didn't like my Jackets losing to your program last year, but rooted for you after you shut us down. That was an awesome game. Hope SD will be upsetting some teams soon. Preferably this Friday, but more and likely in the next couple of years as they further build their program.

This game will probably be the biggest battle for the sweep. Who do we have? G'ville/Silverdale ; Friendship/Grace Academy ; Watertown/Lookout Valley ; TC/SP Silverdale is a pretty young team, so G'ville should have no problem; SP put a pounding on Grace tonight, Friendship will more and likely do the same; Silverdale played LV very closely (lost by 7), so Watertown will probably take the win; and well, I just don't know about TC/SP. SP will be favored, but... This is just my opinion on the games. Could be very wrong!! Yeah, tell me about it. That's why I said I could be wrong. Very wrong. I excelled in math, so that's why all the math facts. Possibly a little lacking in more practical things such as common sense. Ask #1 Jacket fan his opinion of my common sense. Well, maybe don't get him in trouble. As we all know, everything known in regular season play is usually thrown out the window come playoff time. Shoot, I'd love to see both a TC and Silverdale upset this year.

Born in bred in good ole' Hartsville. All my family's still there. Love and marriage brought me to Chatt about 11 years ago - after college. Still a die hard Jackets fan. Unfortunately, just don't get to see them play much anymore. So glad the're coming to SP so I can make a little noise. My daughter's at Silverdale in 1st grade and I've got 2 who will start Kindergarten next year, so they're my 2nd football love now. I'll cheer for them, but the chance is slim to none they'll make it out of The Hole the victors. Still so proud of them. But anything can happen. I've been taught to never assume.

It's probably not that big a stretch. And where are some good places to eat? We'll be there in 6 days, baby!!

Boyd will bring their game to The Hole. Can they keep with tradition and win this playoff game while travelling? I can't guess by how much, but I see the Owls taking this one.

I agree with you, Living Legend. Tyner has been preparing for the playoffs all year. Some tough teams have been put down by the Rams.

Well, my decision has already been made - I'll be in the 'Burg this Friday. It's quite a bit closer than G'Ville. I've seen SD play this year, but I've yet to see the Jackets. And this game ought to be tight.

Silverdale coaches and players -- I want to say good job on a season well played. We're all so proud of you for giving it your all each week and advancing to the playoffs. Go to Gordonsville and play your "A" game. You'll need it for them. Win or lose, you're winners! And to the fans -- thanks for the support. Alright, this is what I've been waiting for. I can finally watch my Jackets in person. What a battle this will be!!! I can't even guess the final result. No predictions here. I just say play your best, don't give up, and may the best team advance. I hope it will be my Jackets, of course. And the atmosphere will be awesome - it should be chilly, if not cold; there'll be a major crowd on both sides of the stands; you won't be able to hear yourself think for all the cheering. Yes. Thank you so much for your service. There are still many who appreciate your (the military) willingness to travel for continued training, move your families around or leave your families and go to a strange land, sometimes on very danerous missions, to fight for the freedom of an entire country. Me too. I'll finally get to see my Yellow Jackets in person. If something goes crazy and we wind up 3rd, or really crazy and we go to 2nd, they'll still be in the Chatt area and I'll be there!!! And if everybody else (H2O, G'ville and FCS) loses (HAHA), then my Silverdale Seahawks will likely travel to the Creekband and I'll have to try and work it out to travel. OK, OK - I'll take us at South Pitt. Most likely scenario. The others are a FAR FAR stretch!!!

Sorry to quote my own post, but I might be wrong. I'm not sure whether Monterey could help TC move up with a win. Gotta love region 4, eh! But bring South Pitt on. We went to watch them play Silverdale and SD, even though the score didn't reflect it, played them pretty well. Now, TC will be a totally different ballgame. SP looked pretty big and all, but I think TC can play to their level for sure. And, I love going there to cheer on the Jackets. The crowd is unbelievable - SP full, all of Trousdale there too. Gotta love fans that will really travel to support their team.

Possumtowner - That's probably right. I can't keep up with it. I just figured if Monterey wins, then TC may move up one b/c they beat Monterey. But I do not claim to know a thing about how the playoffs work. I'm just a little ole girl who likes to cheer for my Jackets. I need to just keep my mouth closed and say "Go Jackets" and "good win" or "get em next week" HAHA. Anyway, just hope we can beat RBS next week (you know, anything can happen, but surely...) and stay in the playoffs. Although not looking forward to playing South Pitt, but will at least get to attend that game since we live so close. Sorry, I tend to babble. The way it looks, Trousdale could play South Pitt, or possibly even Lookout Valley, right??? I'd kinda like to see one of those happen since we could go to the game and support our Jackets - the TC variety of course. LV beat my Seahawks last night. Congrats to you.

This game is HUGE!!! I'm rooting for Monterey to win, esp. since that will possibly help Trousdale Couny get a higher ranking. Although I'm still unsure how the rankings look at this time. I guess most of the region 4 games really count this week.

Yes. Our lives are so filled with things that seem so important at the time. As I reflect on what really matters, football is very low on the list. Thank you God, for using this man's post as a reminder that we need to be focused on You. Thank you Tim for being so open and transparent with your presonal life. I'm so sorry for you and your son that you lost someone so important - a mother for your son and a companion for you. I can only imagine it never gets easier. But it seems as though you, with God's guidance, have been a great influence on your son. I will definitely take extra time with my family today thanks to this post. And hopefully I will continue to remember what is really important in this busy world of ours. Isn't it awesome how God can use anything to draw us closer to Him!!!

Shoot!! We heard only the last 60 seconds on the radio and I was screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" It would have been really ugly in person. Though that would have been tough - purple and green don't look too good together. Oh well, Monterey messed that scenario up for us last year. Let's see if Monterey can move TC up this year by winning next week. Though I still can't figure out what the rankings look like at the moment. Go Jackets.
