If Cosby EARNS the title tonight I challenge ALL Hampton fans to stink it up and say "Congratulations!" HA I was trying to say s*ck it up and it kept getting censored to stink it up!!

I will explain: Hampton is the Greatest Region 1 1A school ever. Then they lose to Cosby and all of the sudden SOME Hampton fans say, "Big deal, you beat a 5-5 team!" if Cosby wants to celebrate it. The others give reasons for why they are still the best team in 1 1A despite 5 losses. Cosby cannot win no matter what is said or done on the field. It is sad really, just give some props where the props are due. If Cosby EARNS the title tonight I challenge ALL Hampton fans to swallow your pride and say "Congratulations!"

Of course they didn't play a good game. The greatest five loss team of all time hasn't even shown how strong they are yet (note to Hampton: you have ran out of time to show your Region 1 dominance). You got cheated at Happy Valley? I would like to hear the details on that. I've never known fans, coaches or players to lay the blame for a loss on one or two calls by an official. You still seem to forget one very important thing when stating that Hampton is better than Cosby...YOU DIDN"T BEAT COSBY!!!

My oh my, how attitudes change during a .500 season. In the past pujo LOVED him some Cosby. Now that Cosby has beaten the mighty Dogs it is ALL luck. Are you telling me that Hampton NEVER gets the breaks? I'm sure the teams Hampton plays never forces turnovers, Hampton just gives it away. What a homer!!! Your posts (when winning) used to be mostly unbiased and objective. Now, they are riddled with excuses and how Hampton GAVE AWAY five games. No team has EVER earned a victory against the mighty Dogs!! Surely you can as gracious in defeat as you are in victory.

It is amazing the change in attitudes from certain folks after the loss. Sorry to "burst your bubble" (as has been said MANY times by 25) but Cosby isn't the whipping boy anymore.

25 and pujo, In all fairness, how long in advance do you make schedules for football. You can't wait till week 3 then schedule teams with better records to please you guys. Any, and I mean ANY 1A team that will schedule 3A teams for their non-region games is stepping up in my book. Can you honestly say that Hampton never schedules a weak out of region opponent?

Ummm, your Dad was a kid also at 17, although under circumstances that many (including myself at the time) 17 year old KIDS would have crumbled under. A lot of the KIDS that play are no older than 14 in some cases. They are all 14-19 year old KIDS.

25, In your great career (high school and flag) would you have ever agreed that a team you beat was better than you if their fans talked the same stuff you do? Have you ever read posts where people said they were better than a team that beat them and replied with comments like, quit making excuses, or shoulda woulda coulda, etc. I'm guessing the true answers would have been NO then YES. Hampton lost to Cosby this year. This year Cosby is the better TEAM.

I don't think "trick pooch kicks" was a game plan. SOMEBODY'S coaches didn't make an extremely simple adjustment to guard against it.

Focus Eagles, do not be led astray by the belly aching of Hampton. Your mission is Grace and a Region Title. Don't end up looking like the man pictured below!!!
