I guess I can look past the third person referencing. (although it is hard to do) The Ambassador and King Leon say "The Ambassador" and "King Leon" and "muffin" a lot to cover up for the fact that they really do not have anything intelligent to say about the teams or the games they comment on. Cosby - 8 Hampton - 5 I'm calling for a FG and safety by Hampton and a late TD + 2 pt. conversion (to make it a FG game) by Cosby muffin, man I typed the word muffin and still don't feel as good about myself as the muffin men do. I thought typing muffin over and over and over made me special!!

Grizz: In your second sentence you basically discredited anything else you may say on the matter. "I wasn't at the game." That's it, your post is done. Anything you say on here about what happened is second-hand information. It is about as useless as complaining about the President and never voting. I wasn't at the game either, but I had heard that the referees cheated for Grainger and one of the Grizzley parents begged their child (I think McBee) not to play because they were worried he would get hurt...Of course it is possible that NONE of this is true seeing as how I wasn't at the game to verify any of it. From what I can tell after talking to one of Cosby's coaches is that it was a pretty good game, Cosby made a lot of mistakes, and McBee hurt 'em. Now if that's not a bad attitude from Cosby's coaches I don't know what is.

Because Cosby might beat GP and we all know how GP likes to schedule non-region power houses.

I guess next year the Seymour v. SCHS debate will be a lot more relavent with the new classifications. At least it will during the season. Then it's up to the wildcard voters. Man I think this is going to be screwed up!!!

Eagle, Not to speak for BigBlue, we happened to know a few players from the team that went down to Portland and I would say we were pulling for them. I give a lot a props to Seymour for getting back on SCHS's schedule. They already had a huge county rivalry with GP and then PFHS added another. I'm sure BigBlue respects SHS plenty enough. Now, if you want to talk about not having respect for a program then let's say GP. HA, we can all find common ground by talking about not liking GP!!

BigBlue, Don't forget that (according to Seymour area newspapers) Seymour ended Maryville's streak with their upset "win" in the Jamboree. Of course with the starters playing the next week they were blanked by the mighty Heritage High Mountaineers. Unfortunately they got the win over the Bears this year. I was at the game (which is the coacht standard way of qualifying my statement) and Seymour had 1 first down in the second half (other than the two by penalties) and no points if I recall correctly. SCHS fumbled going in twice, once on the 15 and once on the 2!!! The Eagles gashed up SCHS's run defense pretty bad in the first half but was completely shut out in the second. The Eagles definately played harder and wanted it more and HELD ON for the win. I would give this years Eagles 2 out of 10 games against the Bears but like I said before, they only play one time a year.

It pains me to say that Seymour is playing the best ball this year, but it is true at this point. I think SCHS was underestimating the Eagles and it ended up burning them. (the rain and the turnovers didn't help either) It also seemed the Eagles were very inspired to get Householder a final win over the Bears. However, I definately think a Bears team ready to play could handle the Eagles. Too bad they only get one shot a year. 1/2. Eagles/Bears 3. GP 4. PFHS

Leon, Cosby doesn't decide what region they are in, so half their schedule is decided for them. If I am not mistaken, cosby is 1A and schedules 3A teams for some of their out of Region games. Schedules aren't made weekly, so it's kinda hard to predict which 3A teams to play so Cosby can earn your respect...Wait...nobody wants your respect!! If you never admit Cosby has a good program now, it doesn't change the fact that they do. If you DO admit Cosby has a good program now, it doesn't help make it true. Basically what I'm saying is, and it is the same for the team you support, YOU DO NOT MATTER!!

The Smoky Bears' stadium is having a face lift going on now, looks really good so far. Really beefing up the entrance to the home side!!
