  1. What a tandem! Need some help on career scoring for these two ladies. I THINK Caya has 1,195 for her first two years to date, and Britt has 750 over the same time frame. If these can verified I would be grateful. PLUS has Britt crossed the 1,000 point mark for her career? Sure looking like 2005 season, isn't it? Although a lot quieter than before! Go Bears!

  3. my, my,my y'all are way too nice over here...I guess I miss the old rock 'em sock 'em of 9AAA especially MJ and the Mighty Kitties. Lavergne we barely got to know you and Smyrna - oh well good luck to our former district mates!
  4. I see an all Metro final, McGavock shook out some nerves yesterday. Hillsboro wins it all
  5. McGavocks defense is better than you think!!
  6. Hi Folks! I was at the game and of course congrats to the Mighty Kitties on the win, but it WAS a close thing. MJ missing their free throws were key, and JC popping her three's (comfortable at home?) I agree with another poster about Jasmine, just not as impressive to me. Understand not feeling well, but I would like some of you WCer's thoughts on her overall play considering she has now signed at UGA? Any pull back? Looked like an uneven game through and through. We are so used to these two teams playing a bit looser - could be WC does not know these young Bears, and what to expect. I think Coach Fryer was having the Bears run plays, plays,plays.... Chelsea will be back, she is such fun to watch on D and will get her share of O. The freshmen kids for MJ look GREAT!!! I think Caya settles down even more next round, I love to watch her play - great baseline left hand... Fear the Bud, hmmm...not sure if I even want to comment on that /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Three or more to go!! Go Lady Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. Oh My, Oh My!!! Great to be missed after all! District starts now! This young MJ team will surprise you, especiallly Caya...but we all saw her coming did we not! GREAT footwork, and her touch gets better and better. Britt and Chelsea step up BIG in this one... I have been able to catch a few games, and I think this version of the Lady Bears will just have fun with the Mighty Kitties, who look a bit tight at times, uneasy lies the crown don't you know! This is a very winnable game for the Bears. Something about WC in the second half will fall down (I was at the Hillsboro/WC game) /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> MJ AND BEYOND will be in the house! Go Lady Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. You are correct...is anyone at the game for updates
  9. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk there is always somebody ain't there? Just not the case, MJ outplayed the 'rines (or is it going to be 'riners?) /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> This version of the Lady Bears is oh so fun to watch...and so young to boot! Everybody better watch this team - very special and Caya is just awesome. I saw some posts earlier on this thread, and I don't want to compare ppg Hassel vs Williams but even you Mailman need to acknowledge that at this point Caya's footwork is better than JH at same stage. C'mon folks, people have been anticipating Caya's arrival at MJ for a while. Going to be a fun year and wide open... Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Can you clarify the times for the Sunday games? Looks like duplication....
  11. Yep, and I believe Hillsboro, Lawrence County, Whites Creek and of course Beech. I guess that is 6 and would two more for a 3 day tourney?
  12. Caya is now averaging 21.6 ppg over 8 games.
  13. Caya did look well, and the team responded at crunch time. The Lady Bears are young, and played a bit that way at times - but will without a doubt be in it all the way in 9AAA. Need to work on free throws, but that should come. Caya is very quick footed, loved her moves to the basket!
  14. Thanks! Everybody come on out and watch the games!
  15. Hi - Thanks in advance! Games at Cane Ridge?
  16. Hi All - that time of year again! Does any one have the teams/schedule? Nice win for McGavock over Shelbyville in HOF game...
  17. A guy takes a few months off, and these threads just go nuts with inside stuff... Here is where we get back on track - MJ AND BEYOND is in the house! And will be tomorrow!! I was there 2 years ago when another MJ team took the Burros to the last play. That was then, this is now - - Now means a team more experienced with Coach Perry (and in the 2nd round again), now means an EXPLOSIVE scoring O, awesome kicking, and opportunistic D. Now means a team that has grown into what Coach P is preaching, and WINS those insanely close games. This team believes! Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
