I must say I'm SRY for the post that I made. I was completely wrong for doing so and I'm man enough to admit it. For my real opinion on how UC will do this year is that they will do great. Losing the seniors is hard but I believe they can overcome it. Whether you like him or not or agree with this statement i don't care but I believe we will see a new Jim Fishel with this season. He's tasted victory now and I believe he has what it takes to take this team to the Boro' again. The kids really want it and Im proud for everyone of them. This team may be young but I believe they will have what it takes to over come the giant struggles that lies in front of each and everyone of them. Like I said earlier, my post was in ignorance... and out of frustration... My true opinion on Central is I hope they win state. How awesome would it be to have the 1A and 3A championships in the same county. But Ill end with this.... GO UC!! GO AND MAKE US ALL PROUD, WE SUPPORT YA 110%

I also attended the scrimmage and I have to agree with everything he said. Looking at the new shotgun offense... i must say I was very uneasy about the idea at first but after seeing it in action I love it! There are some flaws that need to be worked on in the Line Area especially when blitz is on. But besides that it looks great. And the work that needs to worked on is more than likely just nerves. The team looked great from my viewpoint. Brett White did an outstanding job in my opinion also. You can see his hard work paying off on the field. Also, I would like to report on this area also. The B team did a outstanding job. This freshman team an awesome job. Running BACK TO BACK TOUCHDOWNS at the end of the game. One by a freshman Im not aware of the name and anther by Taylor Bruff. Also, two players injured for UC. Marque Evans with a knee injury and Caleb Poore with what looked to be a ankle injury. I Do not know the extent of the injuries though. BUT IM GOING TO END WITH THIS!! GO UC AND THIS TIME BRING HOME THE GOLD! IM FOR YA 110%

Well, instead of just looking at the overall record of your high school years lets look at the THE OVERALL RECORD PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which belongs to Union City.. O and By the way.... I was talking to some people the other day and maybe you can help me out here. Union City enrollment 391.... Central enrollment is over double that. AND YOU MEAN TO TELL ME WITH ALL THOSE KIDS YOU CAN"T GET A BETTER TEAM THAN THAT. THAT YOUR TEAM IS SO BAD THAT YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY OVER A WIN OVER A 1 A SCHOOL. HAHAHAHAHAAHA.... THATS LIKE A 40 YEAR OLD MAN BEING HAPPY AND PROUD AND ARROGANT THAT HE BEAT A 15 YEAR OLD KID UP HAHAHAAHAHA. IM SURE IN A SCHOOL THAT SIZE YOU CAN FIND MORE KIDS THAT CAN PLAY! I MEAN THEY ARE RAISED FROM KIDS TO BE GREAT ATHLETES RIGHT! I MEAN WHO NEEDS WEIGHT LIFTING WHEN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE INCLUDES.... CHASING CHICKENS.... GRABBING AND SQUEZZING THE UTTERS OF A COW..... CARRYING BARRELS OF HAY... CUTTING DOWN LOGS BECUASE YOU CAN"T FIGURE OUT CENTRAL HEATING AND AIR OUT.... and my favorite from last year SWIMMING OUT OF YOUR CLASSROOMS BECUASE ThEY ARE SO FLOODED!! I MEAN SERIOUSLY YALL...... INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT LIL O UC.... and being proud to be able to beat a school less than half ur size..... DON"T THINK THEY YALL NEED TO WORrY ABOUT WESTVIEW AND HUNTINGTON AND MILAN.... BUT YET I ForGET WHY SHOULD YOU WORRY ABOUT THEM BECUASE THEY DON"T WORRY ABOUT YOU DOING ANTHING IN THE SEASON OR POST SEASON!

I was wondering how long it would take someone to show their ignorance and say.. Union City doesn't belong in 1 A. LOOK AT THE ENROLLMENT BUCKO! TSSAA sets the classes we don't. Idk whats worse.. That FA kid talking crap about their starters (which Im sure he probably doesn't even play anyway just stands on the sidelines the whole time and watches his teammates throw fits--sry I had to throw that in there) or you saying Union City doesn't belong here. Well, you know what we do belong here. But let me fill ya in on a little secret, you know why UC has such a good sports program. ITS BECAUSE UC HAS SCHOOL SPIRIT! You find anther 1A school in the STATE that had the spirit of the Student Section of Union CIty's in Basketball... O wait you can't. Or how about the number of kids that show up to a UC home game to not just talk and have a good time but to actually cheer on their team. THen we will talk. THe fact is we were raised up in an atomosphere where school spirit is the best thing you can have, and when you have that mentality you will have students actually wanted to excel in sports becuase they realize that people care.. and that is the drive of a UC athlete and thats why they are that durn good. So just becuase UC is good don't be bashing them around saying they don't belong, becuase looking at the enrollment they belong!!!!!!

I have to disagree with your statement. I believe that Union City and Lake County is one the biggest around. Alot of the tension comes from back in the day when Union City used to play Lake County. Trust me, the tension is there and its strong. It will continue to stay that way too.

Hey, Idk about the Humboldt number but I do know that number is entirely inflated for Union City. THat is probably from like 2 or 3 years ago. Lately thought Union City has had to deal with a Large amount of kids leaving the school. Union CIty enrollment is 391 its not 442

Middleton having class??? I believe it was the Middleton fans who were screaming and cursing at the student section of Union City! After the game going to the fans individually and saying Union City is garbage! Just thought I throw that in. M-town-baller well I quess you see how bad Region-14a is? THat same region put you out of the tourney. The same region you said was garbage on the LC thread. O and by the way Ill end with this. Im glad I had my camera becuase the look on yalls face after Quis hit that shot was Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also.. Union City has one TWO Gold Balls in the Last 15 years. Also those two were in DOUBLE AA too.

I hate to tell you this. Lake County is not better than the STARTING 5 of Union City. The only time you all beat Union City was the night Marquis, X, Tony, and Marque Evans were all out! And quess what that means YOUR STARTING FIVE IS ONLY 4 POINTS BETTER THAN UNION CITY'S B TEAM

In Defense to Drew, that was not Drew's Post. Someone had gotten his password and written that. O and by the way.. I am so proud of our adults acting like children and making comments at players picking fun if they play or not. Truth is he works just as hard any the other players. And would be a starter at any of the other 1A schools in the UC area. HE just is on a team with some the best LINEMAN in the STATE

Any team was not ranked the entire season and then comes to the Semis... Ya buddy thats heart. A team who last week was told had no chance what so ever to wins agaist JCS the way they did. You can say yall have more heart. But when it comes down to it. Really all this talk everone on here doesn't mean a thing. It all comes to Friday Night. When the lights come on, u strap up ur shoulder pads, put on ur helmet, and PLAY. Thats all that matters. Agree or Disagree. But thats the truth. Any team can be beaten on any night by anyone. All we can do is cheer our teams on. SO go ahead. Give Union City "bulletin Board" Information. But i promise you thats the last thing you want to do to Union City. Ask Jackson Christian Schools.

I wouldn't say they have more heart. I think anyone from West Tennessee will tell you Union City has the most heart around.
