well where should i start. i will start with this i have ONE user name the one inwhich i am using now. i know who old eagle 24 is and its not me. i have no clue who YOU (tcpioneer3) are. however old eagle is right about the storys he told about CD. some great and not so great games. CD put 60 on the board back in 92 the next year at there house we put 50 somthing on them. in that same game 4 + palyers and at least 2 coaches were tossed. sore lossers. i myself wil tell you we have SOME rough fans, but then again show me a team that don't. but that was then. as for the bus rammed in to the school if thats not true why did CD pay for the damages. anyway thats the past. what comes around does go around, and i am man enough to take it when it comes. i expect to get a does next year from CD if we play again. i also expect coach murphy to want to play so he can give it to me. i have taken it for 4 out of my 6 years here. i was not trying to run up the score. i do know how that feels. if i was i would have not taken out my starters. i would have done what the one person said on here. i would have tried to score. now here is the explaination. #99 shepherd came out 3 weeks ago. he is a soccer player who i ask to try and kick for us. he can so he does. he has never got the opportunity to kick a FG in a real game. so i gave him his shot. so i called a TO to get him out there. it was not to RUTS or to rub it in anyones face. it was simply giving a 16 year old kid the chance to accomplish something that HE WORKS HARD AT EVERYDAY just like all the other PLAYERS in this game. he nissed it. now lets move on!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and if you want to talk about it give me your # mines in the book. SHELTON oh yea we dont have that PA guy from last year anymore and he dont coach our middle school anymore either. i finally got rid of him.

well seeing as i am again unable to sleep i will respond. i guess i should not have used the word hate in relation to the game. CD is the one team i know we have played nearly if not every year from the start of the program. and yes i did play way back then. i came to the school as a junior in 92. that year was the first time i ever put pads on so i watched alot. CD killed us. it was bad they had one sweet team then. billy goodman, fess hall, alan cobble and many others. i actually got to play with those guys at TC. the next year we got them back it was ugly. 2 of there coaches and a half dozen players went home early because they got ejected in the secaond half. they, like us, hated to lose. ever sense we have had some great games. it always seemed we were there home coming game and we would beat them. then they would come to our house and beat us. i dont know the record between us but i think we are up on them. so tcpioneer3 whats your story. are you a pioneer as was i a long time ago. shelton

i played at tusculum college graduated in 99 graduated fron cosby in 94. went to cosby as a junior to play round ball. thought i would play football to get ready for baskestball. i got cut from the coach asking me to come out. decided to work at football the rest is history. shelton

we are flirting with the numbers of going 2a not sure whats going to happen. we are a growing community. we will have to wait and see what happens. as for magaha he is still running around here going to walter state. shelton

well that was the goals set back in the offseason. not this past week. so in respect to that we must maintain those and work to accomplish more than expected. shelton

number one i like you to some point big dawg 71. i or no one remotly close to the program never said we would have beat you all on a dry night. i did however make a comment to JC aftr the game about a possible different out come, but that was for kicks and giggles. me and JC go way back to 1993, but thats a different story. i do however think it may have been closer, then again it may have been worse. who knows. we the team and coaches have not been braging about our ranking. i personally hate it. it makes my job harder. yea we are excited about being undefeated regarless of the talent level we have played as you and many others like to bring up. with that you dont know how alot of those team live to beat us regardless of winning any other games that makes them a little tougher. like this week chucky doak hates us and would love to beat us more that anything so i expect them to stop at nothing to do so. unaka and hampton have good teams and will be hard to beat. but know this win or lose my staff and i will have done everything possible to get the team ready to win. oh and that does mean scouting just like everyone else does. its all about one game at a time. oh by the way season goals for cosby finish 2nd in region make it to the 2nd round. not blue cross bowl. good luck this week and unaka see you at the game hope you have a safe trip. LOL!!!!!!!!! thats funny. well your first mistake was going by what people say. your next mistake was thinking, and lastly was saying something on here. I KNOW the story heck i am one of the main characters. i would let you in on the TRUE story but this is not the place for it. bottom line HE IS ELIGIBLE!!! if you want call me i am in the book. ill tell you the story and what i think about it. call TSSAA its for real. your talking about a kid who at the time coaches there were saying would never amount to anything. look at what we have done. 6 tackles last week. again a problem cocke co. carter has another good football team this year. cocke co. is in the getting better stages. with a new coach and new offensive and defenisive schemes its hard sometimes to put it all together in a short period of time. i think cocke co. will have to play some great football which they can do. good luck cocke co. play hard and take it to them and get the win. shelton

i got to looking as well and you were right its one of our own, sort of. they, meaning the ones green with envy, do this crap about every year. most of the time its basketball now i guess we are in the mix. We are not a zoned county so therefore anyone can go to any school they choose. your smart enough to figure it out from there shelton

hey thanks pujo. its good to know your out there supporting whats right and thats the love of the game and the kids that bleed for it. if its someone from around here its no surprise. HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just got out of the shower to find out that we (COSBY) or myself for that matter are cheatting. does anyone know where that guys is from. i appriciate those of you that said i would not stoop to that level. that is the last thing i would want for myself and more importantly these KIDS that have busted there butt to be better. i am not sure why this guy made that statement. it is the last thing cosby needs. i hope those of you with any sense know this. shelton

look here is a prim example of us coming of like we are football gods. you have already got us talking trash and no one from cosby has evan posted on here till you post. we play one game at a time you all gave us a game last year. i was so upset it wasnt even funny. so hear is some advise get better this week play hard friday and let what happens happen. keep that young group hungry and stick together and turn wwest greene around. shelton

well everyone i have great news. we washed all the roan mt. mud down the drain till at cosby. we had to lay the jerseys, shoulder pads, helments, shoes, and travel bags on the ground outside and take a pressure washer to them. took all morning, i enjoyed every minute of it. anthony man how are you we do miss you up here. wish you would have came and told me goog bye before you headed to FL. i hope you are doing well. are you playing ball there. well have a great weekend everyone. yes i am the head coach. thanks pujo for the plug, i think. after reading what you said about me i am not so sure i am living up to it and you put some more pressure on me. i am a nevous wreck right now. as for the education slap in the face that hurts. we have great teachers who work very hard and challenge our students. we offer a variety of AP courses that 75% of our Jr. and Sr take. so know something before you make your commints. i hope the weather is not to bad. that is one long road trip. i pray for the safty of everyone traveling to the game or games for that matter. god bless shelton oh yea alot of those post you see during school in on their lunch break. we let them go to the computer labs after they eat.

well i did not write that in the paper for one thing. however i did say it, and with saying it i meant it. hamtonbigdogs your right cloudland is not north greene and i never said they were. if you knew anything about the conversation were that comment came you would know that i never look down on a team. i told the reporter that i wanted to win those 2 games to give the team some confidence that we needed going into this game, and that i had never beaten tham as an asst or head coach. i think we are conteders to finish very well in the region just like HAMPTON, CLOUDLAND, and UNAKA. dont think for a minute that any one of us can't fall to the bottom. i want our region to beat everyone we play out of region and the region games to be dog fights. it only makes the region look stronger. so everyone will quit calling this region weak. so tell JC i said hey and that i am excited for him to role in to cosby week 7 and make sure you let him know its week 7 (SEVEN) and then have him tell you the story of that kid from COSBY back in 93 when hampton was ranked in the top ten that wore NUMBER 7 (SEVEN). then ask if he is supersticous then tell him that SHELTON LOVES HIM. shelton

well pujo!!! you dont know me extremly well. but you know me. you may have noticed i dont post as much. i do read it everyday. i have spent some time wondering were the eagle fans and myself said we were going to win every game and all that crap. you also know i print all this off and put it in our friday game book. i am focused only on this week and the tough job we have before us. the long road trip on a day we have no school. making sure we know everything we can on cloudland and being ready for the unexpected. i have never overlooked another team. as for us being undefeated when hampton comes to town really who would ever in there right mind say that. anyone with a brain knows that at any time you can lose a game or player. just ask coach kieth about that. he lost ( and i hate it) his starting TB at west greene. we are getting ready for cloudland. then Sunday we will get ready for west greene, and so on. i will say this unaka scares me. i hope i can get alot of film on them. we have 6 road games and thats a task on its own. it would be nice to be in the thick of things when hampton comes to raymond large field. it would make for a very big night. as for all those on here making comments about us keep it coming. we will either make you out to be football gods or or the muffins we are at this point. i am excited about trying to make it to biscuit level. that would be so sweet. i hope the next week we could be to the croissant level. from there the sky is the limit and my guys are pumped. sorry forgot to sign my name SHELTON ( part of the staff)

this is a very important game for us!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate to hear about jordan hughes getting hurt. i wish him the best and hope he gets on the feild soon. cloudland is a tough place to play and they always play tough regardless if they are rebuilding. they have a good number of athletes they use in multiple positions. this will be a tough game for us and we need to bring our A game. i can see it now though if we win, everyone will say it because cloudland was without hughes in the game. oh well the important thing is getting my guys ready to play friday.. shelton
