LOL after being on the radio tuesday night with Coach Crawford. i think Cocke CO. will give Seymore a game. it always hard to predict a new coach and his team till they have played a few games. if Cocke Co can play good pass defense they may have a shot at a Win if not they may have to out score Seymore. that is tough to do with any teams playing each other. i hate to hear cloudland is having off the field problems. i know that something has to be wrong with the king and many others so quiet. i like coach kieth, and every program has tough times. trust me i know all aout that. thats when you need the fans behind you the most. i dont however know what the problem is but if its all just because the lose to sullivan east what does everyone up there expect. you cant dominate forever at this small school leval. shelton

i am nervous enough about this week and season. then you guys posting on here are not making it any better. everytime i see my guys in the hallways and on the feild i think this is our year. then i turm around and think man alive i hope we are ready. lord i am a nervous wreck as you can tell i never sleep. well i THINK we have what it takes to get oakdale this week. they have apretty good team and several upperclassmen. we will see friday on the field. shelton

hey old 44 nice to here something positive on here. i take it you have spent your time on the turf. i will never for get tim clips when ii played my Jr. year man he had wheels. its good to see him helping up there. you might be able to tell me. did he go play anywhere when he graduated back in 93 or 94. i am also curious how many players you have has go on and play at the college level from cloudland in all your sports. i know these days it hard to get athleyes motivated and ready for that next level. college is a new word when it comes to being a student athlete. well i hope you will responed to this post for me. maybee get this back on track. shelton

well i have been reading these post for a while trying to stay out of it. look king i respect cloudland with more respect tham many people from there. i like coach kieth. you just take things to far. we hear at cosby are proud of what we are trying to do here. we have a newfound pride and carry that just like cloudland or any other team should. and everyone on here gived teams the credit no matter what it is. now you better be careful messing with eagle3314 she can give a mean beating of her own. i have a few questions for you. you said you played for the cloudland team that beat cosby in there 1st year of a varsity. congrats by the way. so that means you have to be at least 28 or older. yet you act like a 16 year old. do you still live at home with mommy and daddy? do you have a rick flair comforter on your twin bed? where is the sting poster hanging at in your room? heck i bet if your pants feel down everyone would see hulk hogan ripping his shirt off on your backside. hey but your still the man arn't you. take care buddy. shelton

futblofan you need to read possums post he gets it. we get more practice time with getting to start in july witch alows for teams to go to camps earlier. we can still have summer workouts as long as we let anyone interested participate. i have read the perposal because i am one of the AD's at my school. it does not change the way we work out or the demands we put on players. as for the comments you made about me. i work very hard and demand alot out on my players. i am not some asst. coach i am a head coach. you dont even know me and you call me lazy. well futbolfan not going to argue with ya. these canges only help football in my opinion. shelton

as for your question about this perposal its was faxed to the ad's of the schools. after reading all these post i am unsure how you all are inturpeting it. i dont see it saying you cant have summer work outs. i see it saying you have to offer it to all students. how many regular students do you see coming yo work out after school and in the summer. not many. then again i may be reading it wrong.

your right pujo. region one is getting alot more competitive. i have been trying to get that across to my guys to keep pushing them to work harder every day. i hated to see the guys lose as well. as you stated though ot time to get busy this the real mans sport. tkae care buddy hopr you all have a great spring with no major injurys. shelton

i can agree with your point that sometimes someone with history with the program like a former player can bring fire to it. i myself played at Cosby and now am the head coach. i started out at cocke county before gettin to be and assistant at cosby. i still think, howerver your worries about coach hatcher coming in and leaving i a few years are unnessisary. i also think that having the local voy coaching the team can cause some problems as well. when your that local kid everyone knows it tends to be easy to suggest what should be done with certain asspects of the program. you can call it many way. Coach Hatcher is the coach now if you want to see the prgram grow let him do his job and most important SUPPORT him and he will stay. YOU dont KNOW why he left the other places so quit looking at the black and white of it and let him know why EAST is the place to STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! shelton

so whats the real story here? its hard to make out what your problem is. from what i have read its alot. i thought i would get on here and see what's the buzz in east m-town. the reason for my interst is your new head coach. i cant believe you can say all you are about a guy you know nothing about. let me give you all a short history lesson. i was a former player for coach hatcher at tusculum college and cont. to keep up with him. you guys need to use a little comon sense. why would a man leave GA. and its great pay to come here to east tenn takinfg a major pay cut. could it be to get back home and raise his children near his and is wifes family in sever and greene co. will he make east a good coach? NO!!!! he would make a GREAT one. he started out at sever co before going to the college ranks at cumberland for 3 years then to be the OC at tusculum college were he was on the staff that started the progem there. he was there 6 years and his offense was nationally raked. he left there because he wanted to be a head coach. he took the south east high job in GA. which had the longest losing streak in GA and turned it around. he only left because the coach at trion GA wanted him to run the offense where he spent 4 years having been region camps twice and made it to the GA dome as well. now how many of you would leave giving th opportunity to be a part of a power program. what a reward for your kids to get the opportunity to have Coach Hatcher coach your children and give east football a new look into the future. he is a good man and when your children leave they will be men. he has strong chistian morals and is family oriented. i would dare say if i did not have the position i currently hold i would be first in line to get on ship with him. your right about the pressure on cosby. hampton will be the big bawg going into the preseason, with cloudland fall in behind them with hopefully cosby putting some pressure on both teams. unake sounds as if they will come out strong with new changes in the making jellico and grace rounding out the bottom but with the potental to make thing go well for both teams. i hope its a grat season for all teams making the last half of the season a run for playoff positions. hampton has a good looking team coming back. cloudland always finds a way to make noise. unaka sounds if the will be strong in D. jellico with good work in the weightroom could do well grace with its staff and unknown roster (who knows) cosby has a good group returning with alot of experiance from last season and a better work ethic in the weight room should be in the mix for a top three finish.

hey old24eagle dont you play the trumpet. i dont think i have ever seen you on the court. i have seen you try to shoot the ball one word for that (ugly)! man alot of trash being thrown arond in here. the way i see it its basketball anything can happen just have to go down sit back and see what happens. we may get the win we may not but either way there ae alot of teams across the state watching. that something to be proud of. go luck cosby i wil be there to support you all. best wishes to hambutt to.
