  1. Wonder where SBEC and St George will end up or where are they predicted to finish? I know both teams went through a rebuild last year. Just wondering.
  2. Trojan fan, Justin likes your attitude and posts. You have always been open and fair to all when you speak. alot of repsect for you. Keep up the good and quality posts. http://nationalunderclassmen.ning.com/video/vts-01-16 Link to one of Justin's short videos DII
  3. Congrats to all that are going to the next level with a scholarship. Tn has some great players staying home this year (UT and Vandy).....too bad we could not retain Marlon Brown in some form or fashion. I just don't know what Georgia had over UT. I thought UT had him.....oh well...congrats again and make Vandy fans proud. DII
  4. Jordan Williams has commited to Davidson Academy as well. Bother and bother........Jordan is the TB off the catholic championship team as an 8th grader. I wonder what DA has planned now. DII davidson Academy now has Jordan Williams committed. He is Justin Williams' younger brother. He is TB as well. Going to be exciting to watch. DII

  6. With a limited amout of spots.....I Jefferson, once again....was the senior of the two. Kinda like a Marlon Brown Thing I guess. Do not know about the MBA WR
  7. wow......reading this is wacked out. First Justin is a fine young man. Only a sophomore and the last article that was written about him from the tennessean stated that coach Wade, his head coach, stated his speed is improving every year. how can that get taken out of context? As for Marlon, in the championship game, he did almost get a couple of taunting penalties tn the second half especially when he scored his last touchdown.....he slowed down to let the Davidson Defender catch him and then stepped across the line. It is what it is. It is on film. Does that show his character? I dont think so. I meet him at the Mr. Football event and he was very nice. Him and Justin talked some. I was standing at the exit door when Marlon left the room to head back to Memphis. I watched him. He stopped at the door and called Justin's name. He gave a smile and a nice hand gesture. He wished Justin well in the future. I find that to be class. We have to remember in the heat of a battle anything can take place. Both of those young men desreved to be there. And yes, Justin did blow Marlon out on stats, however, he is the big dog this year and he was a finalist last year. That is the way the system works. I am hoping that if marlon plays to the level he was at in that 2nd half of the state game.....wow...watch out. As for Justin, only one or two players off his 8th grade St. Joseph team currently play football for JPII. Not a class of unity you might say. Some now play hockey, some play baseball. They just went different ways. Paul Wade SPECIALTY is defense. He is also traditionally a running coach and that is what Justin wanted......to run the ball. Can not blame him for that. DII back or DIII back? wow....that is going out on a limb i might say......he is truely 5-9 and 185.....all muscle....and a hugh threshold for pain. 380 carries states that. I did not know that Boston College was DII or are they DIII? Vanderbilt and Tennessee both I could have swore were DI.......Maybe they all are DII or DIII? I will have to look that up when I have a moment. Rumor has it Justin's Borther Jordan will be commiting to a High School soon. We will just have to wait and see which one he picks. The season was great for every child. MUS blew it out, etc.......09 will be even better. Goodluck Marlon. I hope UT gets you. Please.....don't pull a PATRICK TURNER and go to USC.
  8. correct me if i am wrong, however, i think coaches nominate and the writers vote. no .....just one team for DII.....I think the 2007 team had 14 players. I counted 18 nominated
  9. great job west. when two good teams play each other, the kicking game becomes so important. way to go Cody Sandlin from Davidson for a great field goal and extra point. Wondering if there was a kickoff that was returnable? did not get to see the whole game. Great way to finish a great HS stint. Good luck at the next level

  11. Cody Sandlin, kicker and WR for Davidson Academy. He had three touch downs yesterday in the state game in Murfreesboro
  12. 36-34......great game for both teams. Marlon Brown and Justin Williams both played there rolls....exciting game to watch.
  13. if everything maps out the last week, Davidson and Facs would have a bye week 1 of playoffs. Most likely it would come down to Facs vs Harking week 2 and Davidson vs SBEC week 2. You never know though. Playoffs is a new season. Every team has an even chance again.
  14. Justin Willimas.......back............DA 262 carries 1900 yds after 8 games. 30 tds Sophomore Blair Arrington.......lineman.......DA Football Finalist as a Sophomore. He is now a Junior. Justin has a brother. I am curious where he will end up. DA? JPII?
  15. I think this link should be figured in two cases. You have AA and A Ball. 45 player totol 5A gets 3 backs 3 lineman 4a gets 3 backs 3 lineman 3a gets 3 backs 3 lineman 2a gets 3 backs 3 lineman 1a gets 3 backs 3 lineman DII aa gets 3 backs 3 lineman a gets 3 backs 3 lineman 21 plus 21 equals 42 players 3 playes all divisions overall for kicking 45 total player Marlon and Justin will definitly be 2 of the DII A backs. As far as DII AA, I can only hope that Ensworth RB is not hurt that bad and they at least consider his accomplishments. Do not like to see injury at all. Hope he is ok.

  17. wanted a change. loves the power I and had closer friends at Davidson.
  18. Football yes, school no. Made the grade to play TSSAA. He did not have the ACT/GPA to go to the next level. Alot of colleges were STOPPED at the front door when asking those questions. It was ashame he did not have the desire to move up. However, he seemed to be happy when it was all over. Justin, on the other hand, A/B and wants to move. Alot of preliminary interest right now. Let's call it SNAIL MAIL. http://www.wkrn.com/Global/category.asp?C=...p;nav=menu5_4_5 pick the box to start.
  19. Some more news.... http://www.nashvillecitypaper.com/news.php?viewStory=62969 fyi
  20. The multiplier was put in to make public schools happy. All back to Brentwood Academy and others I suppose. The thing that blows my mind is that DI private schools can not offer financial aid. Only DII schools can. So why are all the public schools wanting to punish all that DI private schools? The only thing I can figure is that anyone in the middle tn area can choose Brentwood academy and drive right by 5 public high schools to get there. There are no zones for private schools. The multiplier is deadly to some private schools.
