  1. Riverside did lose alot last season. I thought this years team would win more than they have. They should have won 4-5 games this season. It does not look to promising. How hard is to count to 11? There has to a player on the sidelines that can count to 11. It is obviuosly the coaches can't. This team need some discipline and motivation. I don't think the coaching staff can give them this. I hope that it will change around here soon.
  2. Who got last place last season? Houston or Stewart County?
  3. Here is my top four picks: 1st = Riverside 2nd = Camden 3rd = Lewis County 4th =Richland
  4. Lions4ever, You guys are lucky to have a town and school system that supports your program like they do. congrats to all the camden lions for their awards. WWW.CAMDENLIONS.COM is a great website. another sign of great support. Do you know were i can find a complete list of the all state teams.
  5. Riverside will return 22 starters. 11 on the offense 11 on the defense
  6. How many fumbles did Boyd have in that game? How many did Smith have? NONE. I think Smith has had maybe 4 all year. How many has Boyd had? ALOT. I think that when Smith has as many carries as he had and did not cough it up much speaks for itself. I know that Boyd has a fumbling problem. I have seen him turn it over 4 times myself and I have only seen him play three games this year. If he would have carried it more he would fumble more. Ball control is what seperates Boyd and Smith. Smith is 1st and Boyd is 2nd.
  7. I have seen both of these backs play several games. Both were very good high school running backs. Josh has more career yards and has played since he was a freshman. Hunter has started maybe 25 games in his career. Josh has started maybe 47 games. Stats are a little misleading. Also both play in different offensive schems. They also run behind different lines. Josh has ran out of the Wing "T" and ran outside with several pulling blockers. Hunter has ran out of the "I" formation and has gotten his yards between the tackles. When you run between the tackles you will not have a big average of 9 to 10 yards a carry. Hunter averaged over 7 yards a carry between the tackles. I was at the Camden and Riverside game this season. I would say that Hunter Smith was the best back on the field that night. I would take Smith over Boyd also. He is bigger and faster. Not to say I would not like to have Boyd on my team. I know the camden fans will understand what I am saying when i say you have to hang onto the football to be a reall good back! Good luck to both Boyd and Smith in their future careers.
  8. I think that "Boo" will be the difference in this game. Goodpasture is very big and strong up the middle. You will not run with much success up the middle with Donald. Now running outside with Boo and some misdirection plays will be the answer for Huntoington. Huntington 28 Goodpasture 24
  9. goodpasture 35 camden 21 camden only chance is to run outside. pull some linman and run the boyds outside. goodpasture is very big and fisical in the middle.
  10. does any one no who has made all region?? have they selected the all region team? good luck to my swamp buddies!!!!!!!!!
  11. Riverside 27 Goodpasture 24 Riverside will win this tough battle.......................... cum on boys play hard, no mistakes & PUNT the ball good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. i hate to correct you but you are forgeting the punting position. OOOOOOOOOOOO i get it now you are saying there is no punter in this region.
  13. i hate to keep showing my intellegence but liles is a 2a player. not a 1a player. remember they are getting drilled in 7-2A. :justwrestle:
  14. What swamp did you come from? I am from the swamp just south of morgans creek. We may be related. All you Riverside fans wish me luck today. I worked on resume all night. I think the BOE opens at 8:00 AM.
