I like Oakdale also hard to beat a team 4 times in a season and in the second game I like OZ by 15

Well Superdave what has happen to Oakdale? At least they will have 1 more shot at Wartburg. Wartburg game last night was a total different kind of game then the first one. SuperDave, I do not see Oakdale people being happy with a 3rd place finish either. I thought this team should had won the District out right. They had not played like I thought they would had this season at all. And you must agree on that point. I do not think Wartburg will beat OZ Monday night. District 4 should sweep District 3 in the regionals so who will go to Sub-State time will tell.

With this win Wartburg has a very good shot at going to State this year along with Oliver Springs do not see either of these teams winning the Gold ball but just to make it there is great for Wartburg an Oliver Springs is making a habit of going there. I look for District 4 to win 3 of the 4 games in the regionals if not sweeping them.

That is what's wrong with Basketball these days MOST coaches do not want to change things or get some parents mad or the school board mad. Starters should be pick from practice who stepped up during practice now days the coaches picks 5 players and that is that even if they do not play or practice well the coaches do not sit them down and start other player because they do not want to make any family members mad. That is why certian programs are much better year in and year out becuase the coaches go who practices well and who do not. I feel for the players that do not start becsause in most casese it does not matter how well they practice they will never start.

I would say that was his dad the director of school for morgan county. I think he coaches from the stands and tells his son some plays to run he has done it all year long.

I believe it takes all of them. But most important one is commitment on the player's part. You do not have to play AAU during the summer as long as you put the time in the gym on your own. Most teams that are good year in and year out have players that will put the time in to have a winning season. But you also have to have a coach that will keep a team on track and not let some of the players get the big head.

Was not able to attend the game tonight what happen? I had heard Oneida has been playing well since Christmas but Wartburg has also. OS with 1 lost Wartburg with 2 lost Oakdale with 3 lost Coalfield with 3 lost Oneida with 4 lost OS and Coalfield plays this Tuesday night and if Coalfield can pull out another one this district will be wide open? Still have to give the edge to OS with just one lost and having Coalfield and Wartburg on the schedule and Wartburg having to Play Coalfield and Oakdale and OS still. This might be the best dirstict Tour. in the state this year with any team able to beat the other. It could be a toss up who comes out of it.

Their are 3 teams above the rest right now. OS, WARTBURG AND OAKDALE and any given night any one from this district can beat the other. Now it is just a fight for the 4th team to take control witch one will it be Coalfield or Oneida or even Sunbright time will tell. Did one of the players quit during the game at Harriman christmas Tour.

What was the score tonight did they win?

Is the District Tour. going to be played at the same location or is the first round games going to be played at the lower seed home site like last year? Any help

I will say I did not think Jason would come in and do this well even with a great upperclass team. But I was wrong he has done a good job so far. But in my opion he could had done some things differently and I think they could had won. Now for the game Friday night against Oakdale this will be all Wartburg to much speed and that is what kills Oakdale. Yes they do have a very good team but if a team runs them they will lose and I do not see Coach Snow slowing the game down enough to keep the score in the 30's. Wartburg 63 Oakdlae 45 Superdave, I know you will bash me for this but right now Wartburg is the better team. I just do not see Oakdale girls running with the speed of Wartburg girls have.

Wartburg played very well and should had won last night. I put the lost on the coach though in the 3rd quarter Wartburg was up by 6 or 9 points and OS started at make a run and Wartburg should had callled a time out to stop the run but never did and in the 4th quarter I did not understand some of the subs that he was putting in the game when he had Megan on the bench for almost the hole 4th quarter. Wartburg is a very good team and their new coach has done a very good job this year but he let the game last night get away from him. Best of luck the rest of the season.

Anyone have the teams and times for Harriman Christmas Tour. next week

Oakdale wins tonight by 6 (I think) Oakdale got into foul trouble in first half. But 2nd half Coach Snow used his bench well. Coalfield played ok but last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter they did not play smart. Jordan played very well tonight.

I think Stedam will be a big factor her phyiscal play down low if she can stay out of foul trouble. Coalfield going to have to take better care of the ball though for them to have a chance.

Monterey has a very good coach. Was very impressed with him when they played Coalfield. JC has to many weapons though.
