I have heard Hogsett pulled a hamstring,but I know he continued to play. Its a little tough to go on one wheel. Also last I checked there are ten other players on the field. Just because Munford ran it down there throats, I wouldn't go jumping to conclusions about the linebacker play. Forget he is "suppose to be one of the best in the state" he IS one of the best in the state.I have seen alot of high school d1 talent and Hogsett is as good as any period in my humble opinion.

I got reports from my brother volgeneral. He said Munford just ran it down JCMs throat in the second half and they had no answer. The kid you asked about threw a flea flicker for td in the first half. VG is on the way home and I am sure he will give more details.

I am so sick of all of this pathetic crying from public school supporters. You people are so caught up in moaning about private schools you dont seem to mind the same public schools beating you year after year doing the exact thing that you say private schools do. Dont you think its odd that year after year Maryville and Melrose play each other in football, how about Shelbyville and Bradford girls basketball? My God there are so many examples it is just exausting,but some people just cant see the forrest for the trees. So if it makes you feel better about your team getting beat to blame private schools then by all means keep living in your fantasy world.

What do they deserve? What have any of these kids done to you? The attititude towards the kids at USJ on this forum just amazes me. It is really sad that so many take such great pleasure in seeing these kids lose.

Great game by both teams,but the announcer has to go.It is one thing to be a little bit of a homer and get caught up when your team is doing well,but this guy crossed the line of what high school athletics is all about.It was hard to enjoy the game b/c all I wanted to do was cross the field and stick the microphone down his throat.Guess what buddy,the game is not about you! I attended the Germantown JCM game this year and that PA announcer was the best I have ever heard.He simply called out the players who made the plays and praised both sides when an exceptional play was made.
