I would not want to play a Joe Layne team come tournament time reguardless of the talent level he has. and this year Rebuilding for Wartburg? Ask Greenback, Unaka, and Sunbright. I dont see Coacht Layne letting his boys lose focus again like they did friday night. I'm sure they'll pay for the lack of focus they showed.

From what I hear Wartburg is full of juniors? Not exactly young. Wartburg will be tough, heard they beat louden saturday morning.... Sunbright might have the best 5 starters in a while, Hyden and Kries could be a killer combo..... Oakdale has a lot returning from a pretty good team last year they will be very athletic with perkins, and williams.. Coalfield lost gunter and justice, which was all they had.

Grace hit tha stone wall of Wartburg and DJ Shannon, and got outscored. Wartburg went to state. You guys make it sound like Grace got beat by a team that wasn't deserving. Grace is my favorite out of this district all the way. Slusher is one of the best pure shooters in tha state.

When I started reading about Midways speed, agaist Hamptons Strength I could not believe noone stated Who the only team to beat the Green waves this year is? Anyone know? Rockwood.... Big, strong, NOT FAST.... Rockwood is not the fastest team by any strech of the imagination and Rockwood handled Midway 42-20 or something along that score. Hampton Is extremely well coached and year in and year out has a powerhouse. If this game does show up in a few weeks; It Should be a great one.

Coalfield has a good secondary.... and have one of the best Defensive Ends in William Armes... I don't see Sunbright's offensive line giving Kennedy enough to time to dance around and deliver good balls. Noah Melton is a great cover back and Both Armes kids are pretty good. I don't see Sunbright Recivers Dominating this game at all; I can see Coalfield D-Line givin Kennedy a long night.

I'm pretty sure friday..... Or at least I haven't heard about it beeing moved to thursday. If they moved it surely the radio would have said something.

I didnt get to make the game tonight, but the scoreboard said louden-30 wartburg-6.... I'm not going to lie I thought it would be alot worse. Did wartburg play good and hard? Or did louden have a bunch of fumbles in the redzone. I hope Wartburg played well, because this week is a big game with oz.... best of luck guys.

Wartburg has looked a little bit better the past two weeks in spurts. They've yet to put together a decent game. Wartburg has the distraction of Homecoming this week, not exactly a good thing for wartburg. I hope tha bulldogs have their heads right on friday night, cause otherwise The Wildcats will have their way. What are other people's thoughts on this game?

Thanks for some names..... I do know though that alot of big time athletes hire people to teach them how to run 40's..... Alot of 40 times are technique, but 40 yard dashes and pad speed is different. I've seen Lay run and he is very fast.... Im not sure if I've seen Carroll

4.8's are extremely quick...... I doubt there is anyone on Sunbright's football team that runs under that. If So please give me a name? I could see the Armes kid from coalfield running close to that, but 4.8 is pretty fast.

Shawn Armes is the speed back, not the armes kid from Wartburg. I agree with you CY, if the line blocks the way they are capable, they could put anyone back there. And having 4 or 5 good ones dont hurt anythign either haha. Passing game looked a little weak though.?.?.?.?

Which ever team prepares better throughout the week will win this one, because neither of the teams have a huge hand up on the other one, talent wise. This game is all pride, and let's hope noone gets hurt. And I noticed a comment about oakdale losing to wartburg by 2, they did the same to scott high. Not comparing scores, but seems pretty even.

A wartburg player told me they played better against webb, but still gave up a couple scores. They shut gibbs out with JV playin alot. He told me they didn't score the whole time? I'm hoping that maybe gave them an incentive to work harded, but We will see. He did say though, the kids had a great time out there and absolutly loved it.

Should be a hard fought game. I'm sorry all state, i just dont see scott winning by 35. It will be interesting to see what changes wartburg has made on both sides of the ball, and Scott high has no real way of scouting them. I'll be standing on my regular spot on the fence, and im lookin for a fresh new start. I think Wartburg will come out and be competitive. Predication will wait for a later date.

How many players does Wartburg have coming out? Cause I know last year, there was some problems toward the end of the year with numbers.

Isn't west coast suppose to be quick routes tryin to get speedsters in open space? If so, 10 sacks would be a whole lot, specially when no matter who Wartburg puts at Qb his gonna have speed. Wartburg sees fast Defenses in their region, so I'm not sure if the DE rush will be very effective. Remember These boys have seen fast players in Rae Sykes, Brandon Warren, Hawkins, Latham, Kyrus, and the list goes on and on. Correct me if i'm wrong Die-Hard Dawgs fans, but shouldn't this years line have alot of experience? They return alot of starters on the line dont they?
