  1. Now you're gonna tell me you were down there by the flag? I was standing on the fence on the opposite end, getting hit with footballs from the future McKenzie players. That was a nice showing for the running game. I didn't expect that at all. I just can't see Trinity doing much to slow the Rebels down. As I was there last week, I'll be there again this week, cheering on the Rebels /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. I'll see you McKenzie folks tonight!
  3. Haven't heard from me in a while have yah? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I've taken a break from Coach T, as to recuperate from the loss against Milan. First time in a while we have gone down first round. Even though I won't be watching the Eagles this week, I will be at the Mckenzie - Fayette game. Hold your applause, I know. I can't see this one being much of a contest folks. I just hope I get my moneys worth in gas and ticket price... It's a heck of a drive from Jackson to McKenzie. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  4. Now now. You will get your chance this year /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> . That is, unless West Carroll pulls out the win on Friday. If so, then it's time to put down that football and just go to basketball. : /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  5. That's my guess. I haven't seen UC play this year, but I hear that they are almost at the caliber they were 2 years ago when they made it to the state game.
  6. Ill bring it to yah on a silver platter. And, if I can get my hands on one ( because apparently my McKenzie folk don't like the idea of a JCS fan wearing a Rebels gear), I will be wearing a pretty red shirt at the delivery.
  7. After seeing both teams play this year... And to the disillusionment of many.. I'm calling for Fayette to pull this one out. Trinity is a great team, but Fayette is out for a Region Championship repeat. Trinity had the skills needed to win this game, but that's not all there is to football, is it? /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I, personally, would like to see Trinity win this one. But, as it stands, Fayette is my pick. I hope that I am proven wrong.
  8. I can understand that. I'm sure Mr. Hayes is quite over it.. Vandy now, right?
  9. I tell yah what, your boys take care of business and I'm there. As for that deep-fried Bruin.. it only gets tastier every time. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> And Butchie, I couldn't agree with you more. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> But I'm pretty sure has a nice degree from Skunk Hollow. Poor Sports Management , PhD . Some credentials.... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  10. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  11. Do I have to be the first to say JCS? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Shame, shame.
  12. The Eagles are exactly what Region 8-2A. Another great program to just BE CERTAIN that 8-2A is the most difficult in the state. And everyone tried to laugh us off when we moved up /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. That's what I'm talkin' about! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. Be careful there Ole' Butch. You know they put spies here on Coach T /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> .. they might just slap McKenzie with a ridiculous fine of punishment. Just like they do to the other schools they don't like. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  15. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> With the way TSSAA is going.. we are going to get smacked with another multiplier and end up playing Ravenwood before it's all said and done. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  16. Make sure those boys up there take care of business and make it to the final. One game at a time, I know. But I wouldn't mind seeing that shiny 1A Ball stuck in West Tennessee again. No one in 1A that deserves it more than those McKenzie boys. Especially after dealing with the Eagles for 2 years. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  17. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I know ole' Butchie, all right. I think you and duck are the comedic relief on here. Goodness knows we all need it when people get a little heated. Give Mr. D. Carr and good ole' cheer from JCS week. I'm gonna be busy eating some deep-fried Bruin, courtesy of Matt Hudson. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  18. After seeing both these teams play... Milan. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  19. Now now Butchie and Duck. Just because West Carroll is still in the Xavier Webb, Mr. Basketball, days, doesn't mean you can rough them up too much.
  20. Little by little that JCS offense is getting better. And the defense is scary. I'm looking for a big night from JCS against a very formidable opponent. Bring the lawn chairs for this one. Standing room only.
  21. I know it's been said, but the JCS defense. Oh, and the talk around town is Hudson and the Eagles are as excited about this game as they were in December of last year. I hope USJ has the same amount of enthusiasm. And, this year, this game is a Region game. Come on down to Jackson and watch yourselves a good ole' round of football.
  22. Now now Butchie. Don't you know those Wimpy burgers have a little magic in them? /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> From what I hear, they also add a little extra "flavor" to them for McKenzie fans. Let's just say that you might spend more time in the restroom than actually watching the game. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  23. I guess it's my turn. Here's the skinny. JCS has been a defensive team for the past few years. There is now doubt about that. And the JCS defense continues to (honestly) get more frightening as they progress through this season. The first few games were rocky with an inexperienced secondary, but no one can deny what they displayed against Humboldt (Especially the Cooper brothers at MLBs). I think the defense showed just what they can do to predominantly running teams.. Westview was the wake up call they needed. The offense, though, has yet to play to their potential. But I will expect to see a fine tuned, disciplined offense for this game. Milan is bigger, faster, stronger.. Milan has the athletes. Simple fact. They can run with 7 guys, or they can pass it with quick recievers. I'm not predciting who will win or lose this game. If the JCS defense plays perfect, then it will be a game. I do not expect this to be a high scoring game at all... But I could be suprised. This is certain to be the best game to hit West Tennessee on Friday night, and I think this has the potential to be a very hard fought, down to the wire game. Both teams will be well prepared. Both teams will be pumped. Neither team will accept anything less than a win. This is destined to be the best 8-2A Region game so far this season. I'll see you all at JH Stadium on Friday. Bring the lawn chairs.. I have a feeling it's going to be standing room only.
  24. I'm not trying to bash Hardigree or the USJ squad here. I have a lot of respect for them. But USJ throws it most of the time. You could get the worst quarterback in the state to have numbers like that if you passed every play. Hardigree is a quality player, but I've got to see more from him than big numbers on a big number of pass plays.
  25. Does anyone think a 33 page thread now holds the record? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
