  1. I know it but 2P left himself open and I couldn't resist throwing the hook out there to see if I could get a fish on. You never know until make the cast. If we could all be as honest and forthright as the Oakland folks, it would be a perfect world...somewhere.
  2. The money must be plentiful over at Oakland to be buying automobiles for the folk's. I would have thought that it would have been better put to use on the program, facilities, and helping the unfortunate supplement the cost of equipment.
  3. It only takes one rat to bring the house of cards down. It only takes one parent getting mad at the coach for not playing his son/daughter to put the program in jeopardy. What idiot coach would do a silly thing?
  4. What? Wasn't Barry suppose to leave Michelle in Mexico to work on the next step to expand the health care system in the Americas?
  5. Due to the Tennessee School Financial Accountability Act of 2008 for Boosters and the additional items tacked on by Williamson County Schools, one of the new rules is Booster clubs cannot pay coaches any additional stipend over their base pay as an coach or assistant coaches (Unless it is a camp and they coaches can only get up to 50% of the take). If you have been wondering why about the movement of coaches, this has been top on the charts of late. Of course, I cannot say if other counties are enforcing the new rules or not. Williamson County Schools attorney told me as much and several of the state auditors live in Williamson County. They love to do nothing else and audit locally until they get a sniff of some other school system and comments about paying coaches by boosters clubs. At that point, look for them doing an audit of your local county school board while the high school, and booster clubs goes into a tizzy getting their records audited as well. If it is bad enough, the IRS gets called in. The IRS hands out fines and the Tax Exempt status 501 ©(3) is up for possibility of being voided. Read up on the situation up in Kentucky after the IRS got the sniff of non-compliance activity by Booster Clubs. Audits trouble Bryan Station High School boosters
  6. ...and will this be Obama argument for government takeover on the health care industry?
  7. Obama went to Mexico couple of weeks ago. What did he bring back?
  8. Yep! It would scare me too to see Air Force One. First thing to do? Get the shovel out and start burying your money.
  9. If you're not an card carrying member of the NRA, it's time to be.
  10. Truth to be known, it was Air Force one scaring the people of New York...not a low flying aircraft. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I sure hope Air Force one don't come flying into the Nashville Airport...I'll have to take off for the hills for the same reason.
  11. Muslims: 'We Do That on First Dates' by Ann Coulter, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 Without any pretense of an argument, which liberals are neurologically incapable of, the mainstream media are now asserting that our wussy interrogation techniques at Guantanamo constituted "torture" and have irreparably harmed America's image abroad. Only the second of those alleged facts is true: The president's release of the Department of Justice interrogation memos undoubtedly hurt America's image abroad, as we are snickered at in capitals around the world, where they know what real torture is. The Arabs surely view these memos as a pack of lies. What about the pills Americans have to turn us gay? The techniques used against the most stalwart al-Qaida members, such as Abu Zubaydah, included one terrifying procedure referred to as "the attention grasp." As described in horrifying detail in the Justice Department memo, the "attention grasp" consisted of: "(G)rasping the individual with both hands, one hand on each side of the collar opening, in a controlled and quick motion. In the same motion as the grasp, the individual is drawn toward the interrogator." The end. There are rumors that Dick "Darth Vader" Cheney wanted to take away the interrogators' Altoids before they administered "the grasp," but Department of Justice lawyers deemed this too cruel. And that's not all! As the torments were gradually increased, next up the interrogation ladder came "walling." This involves pushing the terrorist against a flexible wall, during which his "head and neck are supported with a rolled hood or towel that provides a C-collar effect to prevent whiplash." People pay to have a lot rougher stuff done to them at Six Flags Great Adventure. Indeed, with plastic walls and soft neck collars, "walling" may be the world's first method of "torture" in which all the implements were made by Fisher-Price. As the memo darkly notes, walling doesn't cause any pain, but is supposed to induce terror by making a "loud noise": "(T)he false wall is in part constructed to create a loud sound when the individual hits it, which will further shock and surprise." (!!!) If you need a few minutes to compose yourself after being subjected to that horror, feel free to take a break from reading now. Sometimes a cold compress on the forehead is helpful, but don't let it drip or you might end up waterboarding yourself. The CIA's interrogation techniques couldn't be more ridiculous if they were out of Monty Python's Spanish Inquisition sketch: Cardinal! Poke her with the soft cushions! ... Hmm! She is made of harder stuff! Cardinal Fang! Fetch ... THE COMFY CHAIR! So you think you are strong because you can survive the soft cushions. Well, we shall see. Biggles! Put her in the Comfy Chair! ... Now -- you will stay in the Comfy Chair until lunchtime, with only a cup of coffee at 11. Further up the torture ladder -- from Guantanamo, not Monty Python -- comes the "insult slap," which is designed to be virtually painless, but involves the interrogator invading "the individual's personal space." If that doesn't work, the interrogator shows up the next day wearing the same outfit as the terrorist. (Awkward.) I will spare you the gruesome details of the CIA's other comical interrogation techniques and leap directly to the penultimate "torture" in their arsenal: the caterpillar. In this unspeakable brutality, a harmless caterpillar is placed in the terrorist's cell. Justice Department lawyers expressly denied the interrogators' request to trick the terrorist into believing the caterpillar was a "stinging insect." Human rights groups have variously described being trapped in a cell with a live caterpillar as "brutal," "soul-wrenching" and, of course, "adorable." If the terrorist manages to survive the non-stinging caterpillar maneuver -- the most fiendish method of torture ever devised by the human mind that didn't involve being forced to watch "The View" -- CIA interrogators had another sadistic trick up their sleeves. I am not at liberty to divulge the details, except to mention the procedure's terror-inducing name: "the ladybug." Finally, the most savage interrogation technique at Guantanamo was "waterboarding," which is only slightly rougher than the Comfy Chair. Thousands of our troops are waterboarded every year as part of their training, but not until it was done to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed -- mastermind of the 9/11 attack on America -- were liberal consciences shocked. I think they were mostly shocked because they couldn't figure out how Joey Buttafuoco ended up in Guantanamo. As non-uniformed combatants, all of the detainees at Guantanamo could have been summarily shot on the battlefield under the Laws of War. Instead, we gave them comfy chairs, free lawyers, better food than is served in Afghani caves, prayer rugs, recreational activities and top-flight medical care -- including one terrorist who was released, whereupon he rejoined the jihad against America, after being fitted for an expensive artificial leg at Guantanamo, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer. Only three terrorists -- who could have been shot -- were waterboarded. This is not nearly as bad as "snowboarding," which is known to cause massive buttocks pain and results in approximately 10 deaths per year. Normal human beings -- especially those who grew up with my older brother, Jimmy -- can't read the interrogation memos without laughing. At Al-Jazeera, they don't believe these interrogation memos are for real. Muslims look at them and say: THIS IS ALL THEY'RE DOING? We do that for practice. We do that to our friends. But The New York Times is populated with people who can't believe they live in a country where people would put a caterpillar in a terrorist's cell.
  12. It was on the news from Spector crying about the Pennsylvania Republican party kicking him out in favor of a conservative candidate in the upcoming elections. Term limits come to mine here and why old statues like Spector need to be move out of the Capital. Obama says he will help him win Pennsylvania. In two years, they will be running from Obama, not to him. Spector is doing this just to stay in Washington. It sounds like a cheap "lady of the night" comes to mind.
  13. You want see Letterman doing top 10 list on Obama and these goofy actions of his administration. Their one track mind is to blame it on Bush and the lib's/news media love it.
  14. When will congress give protection rights to the religious segment. Just say you believe and announce in public that marriage is between one man and one women. This could be consider hate crime and talk against gays. Metro Nashville Public Schools are being sue now by the ALCU now for not allowing gay and lesbian websites access through school computers. It seems since Obama won the elections, Conservatives have been silent as shown on this website by the lack of talk and concern about the change in America. You talk about throwing in the towel... Doing and saying nothing is the same as acceptance. Gay rights movement advances as House committee OKs 'special protections' By Tom Strode / Baptist Press, Friday, April 24, 2009 A congressional committee voted Thursday to extend hate crimes protections to homosexuals and transgendered individuals in the first step of what supporters hope will be a major victory for the gay rights movement. The Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives forwarded the legislation to the full chamber in a 15-12 vote. The measure adds "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the current classes -- including race, religion and national origin -- protected from hate crimes. The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, H.R. 1913, appears to have an enhanced chance of enactment in this Congress after having been turned back in previous sessions. The House and Senate both passed similar legislation in 2007. Under threat of a veto from President Bush, the two chambers failed to agree on a final version. If the bill gains approval in this Congress, President Obama is expected to sign it.
  15. Miss. Calif. gets standing ovation at Dove Awards By Michael Foust / Baptist Press, Friday, April 24, 2009 NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Miss California USA Carrie Prejean may have her critics in Hollywood and the pageant industry, but she found a friendly crowd Thursday night when the audience at the 40th annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards gave her a standing ovation. Prejean was runner-up in Miss USA Sunday, and some observers believe she lost the crown when she told the 12 judges -- and a nationwide TV audience -- that she believes marriage should be between a man and a woman. She has received plenty of criticism but also lots of praise, and that continued at the Dove Awards. Dove Awards officials didn't announce Prejean, 21, would be part of the program at the Grand Ole Opry House until the day before the event, and many in attendance apparently were caught off-guard when she was introduced. The applause that is normally given a presenter grew into a standing ovation for what the audience and other conservative Christians consider her courageous act. Prejean introduced the band MercyMe. A student at San Diego Christian College who attends The Rock Church in San Diego, Prejean was asked during the pageant if "every state should follow" Vermont in legalizing "gay marriage." She stumbled in her answer at first -- she later said she was debating at that moment whether to give a middle-of-the-road answer -- before saying, "I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman -- no offense to anybody out there -- but that's how I was raised and ... I think that it should be between a man and a woman." Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, the judge who asked the question, later called Prejean a "dumb " with "half a brain." He also said she "lost because of that question." Hilton is homosexual. Another judge, Las Vegas entertainment reporter Alicia Jacobs, wrote a blistering anti-Prejean blog entry that received so much negative attention that it was later deleted. In the entry -- dubbed "Pretty is as pretty does" and still available via a Google cache -- said Prejean's answer "GREATLY affected me & the final score I gave ." Prejean, Jacobs said, "made the mistake of not knowing when to shut her mouth." Jacobs further said that, including Hilton, at least two of the judges were homosexual and that a third has a sister in a "gay marriage." Jacobs said she was "personally insulted & hurt." "As she continued to speak, I saw the crown move further & further away from her," Jacobs wrote. She revealed how she voted on the final tally, which took place after the questioning round: "This was the moment where we had to assign that all-important final ranking ... 1 thru 5. Yes, I struggled, prior to her final question, Miss California was not my pick for Miss USA, but I would have chosen her as 1st runner-up. My final ranking for Miss California was 4th runner-up ... & if I could have made her 51st runner-up, I would have." Bumping her from first runner-up to fourth runner-up impacted the 12 judges' average score, which determines the winner. Not to be outdone, Giuliana Rancic, a news anchor on E! Television, wrote on her Twitter account regarding Prejean, "i know i'm a journalist, and i should be objective...but she is an ignorant discrace and she makes me sick to my stomach." Of course, Prejean's views also were the views last fall of a majority of Californians who passed Proposition 8 and banned "gay marriage" in the state. The latest CBS News poll showed that given three options, only 33 percent of American adults support legalizing "gay marriage." Prejean hasn't backed away from her views. She told NBC's "Today" show, "It's not about being politically correct. For me, it was being biblically correct." She added, regarding her missed opportunity to win the crown, "It wasn't what God wanted for my life that night." Prejean repeatedly has said that if given another chance, she still would have stated that marriage is the union of one man and one woman. She said she believes it cost her the crown. She also has said she is praying for Hilton. "By having to answer that question in front of a national audience, God was testing my character and faith," she told Fox News. "I'm glad I stayed true to myself." Conservatives have defended her. Maggie Gallagher, president of the National Organization for Marriage, wrote in a post on The New York Times' website, "Carrie Prejean is a heroine to many because in that split second she had to decide, she chose truth over the tiara." Gary Schneeberger, vice president of Focus on the Family, said the incident exposes a double standard when it comes to the practice of tolerance. "Those who lean to the left ideologically like to paint those of us on the other side as the 'intolerant' ones," he wrote. "But some of them are going to have a hard time whitewashing the intolerance they've shown to Carrie Prejean since she said during the weekend pageant that she believes marriage should be defined as solely the union of one man and one woman." He further wrote, "What has happened to Miss Prejean over the past few days is nothing short of religious persecution. No, it is not violent persecution -- but that does not minimize its existence or its danger. She is being pilloried in the public square for deigning to answer a question guided" by her biblical beliefs. Brian Brown, executive director of the National Organization for Marriage, said the Prejean controversy shows that "gay marriage as a movement is not about quietly letting two men live as they choose." Instead, Brown wrote in an e-mail to subscribers, "it's about changing how the rest of us live, what we can say, what we believe, what our children are taught."
  16. Terrorist need love too or as it seems from the voice of Heads of State from the new United Socialist States of America (USSA). It is the Rodney King version of appeasement "Can't we all get along Comrade!" In: Socialism, Global Warming, Terrorist, Taxes, Bigger than Big Government, Printing Money... Out: Capitalism, Global Cooling, CIA, Conservatism, Strong Military, Moderate Taxation, God & Country, and American Ingenuity & Know-how.
  17. Bill Clinton policy lead us into the situation below...what will be Obama legacy beside going around and apologizing to dictators and lowlifes. What type of unknown is coming down because of his policy to persecute the people protecting this country while buddying and bowing to criminals and dictators. It's not a real proud moment the men and women protecting our country.
  18. It seems to match up with the other story as well with the Bainbridge Captain and Seal Commander making the decision for BHO because he couldn't make decision. What if this was an real crisis. Who is going to make the decision when BHO fumbles around while playing with Bo? I guess he will call his Amigo's buddies to get their advice. How in the world did this guy get elected to serve any office? Must give kids great hope because the standard becoming the President has been lowered to shameful levels. While the US last four years with this guy or will it self implode.
  19. Last time we had elected President from Illinois, did the country not split into? ...umh...
  20. Is there anything the Seals can do about these Pirates?
  21. It is Treason for Napol to do what she has done to the citizens of the United States of America. It is high time for her to set down and move to another country.
  22. He probably still be rejecting if not for the Bainbridge Captain and SEAL team Commander taken charge of the situation. I bet Obama was wetting in his pants in trying to make decision.
  23. I had picked this article up on blog about your Commander in Chief. Big time decision maker...not! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> "But truth on pirates From a former Sailor (a cousin): Having spoken to some SEAL pals here in Virginia Beach yesterday, I asked why this thing dragged out for 4 days, I got the following: 1. Obama wouldn't authorize the Naval Special Warfare Command SEAL teams to the scene for 36 hours, going against Onsite Commander (on scene commander) recommendation. 2. Once they arrived, Obama imposed restrictions on their Rules of Engagement that they couldn't do anything unless the hostage's life was in "imminent" danger 3. The first time the hostage jumped, the SEALS had the pirates all sighted in, but could not fire due to Rules of Engagement restriction. 4. When the navy Rubber Inflatable Boat came under fire as it approached with supplies, no fire was returned due to Rules of Engagement restrictions. As the pirates were shooting at the Rubber Inflatable Boat, they were exposed and the SEALS had them all dialed in. 5. Obama specifically denied two rescue plans developed by the Bainbridge Captain and SEAL teams. 6. The Bainbridge Captain and SEAL team Commander finally decide they have the Operations Area and Onsite Commander authority to solely determine risk to hostage. 4 hours later, 3 dead pirates. 7. Obama immediately claims credit for his "daring and decisive" behavior. As usual with him, it's BS."
  24. I guess that I'm am now on the Homeland Security alert list. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> It is getting about time for splitting up the United States. Let's start north of the Mason Dixie line, extend it to left coast, move it to Canada, call it the United States of Canada, and leave the rest of the United States of America as is. Obama wouldn't have to apologize for it like he does every where else he goes.
  25. This is another item concerning Barry & Friends thinking we're all idiots!
