Oak Ridge athletic director tried to get a series with maryville. Maryville said no because that would mean dropping Heritage or William Blount.

I would say it's about time I chime in on this one. If Maryville wanted to move up they could. Would you leave the 4A fantasy land that Maryville lives in if you had a choice? If Maryville moved up to 5A and had to play Oak Ridge every season they would have one loss every season. And that is assuming every player and genius coach for Maryville is healthy and thinking straight every season when they faced the cats. They would also loose to DB more times than not. Even if they stayed down in 4A I would love to see a game with Maryville. At least it would be fun for a couple of years but it would eventually end up being another lopsided rivalry for Oak Ridge much like Farragut and Clinton are today.

Both. As I stated before, I know this is only spring. We will be much improved come August. I can't wait.

Sorry I have not had the chance to evaluate the hydration engineers yet. Our RBs will only be as good as our offensive line. Our QB depends on the WRs. I know this is only spring and I expect them to be alot better come August. But our offensive line should be able to blow Bearden off the ball all night long. Last spring Cumberland Co. whipped us up and down the field and we were in the Blue Cross bowl at the end of the season. I hope for similar results this season. Getting physically beat on the field is one thing. Getting beat because your players don't know their assignments is another.

I think "Offensive line needed" might be a better title. From what I have seen our Oline is average at best. It looks to me that they do not know their assignments at times. Maybe we need a offensive line coach.

Was it 159yds on 9 carries? I hope Clinton learns how to tackle before the Cats come to town. Honestly I don't even see why we play Clinton anymore. It doesn't do either team any good.

It wouldn't matter if we played a cheerleader at QB against Farragutless we would still beat them in embarrassing fashion. Farragut is not even close to competing on Oak Ridges level.

Oak Ridge will not face another D-line like they faced friday. Both of the Defensive tackles were a force. It looked to me that the WR's and the QB were not on the same page. One would think that since the HC is also the WR coach that they would know the pass routes backwards and forwards. It's still very early and mistakes are expected. It was nice to watch the cats play again.

I do not like any other team and do not pretend to like any other team. As much as you might like to think that my comments are what make people not like Oak Ridge, I seriously doubt it. I almost agree with you on this one bounder, but we are talking about UT.

If you read my post it said,"it's hard to be #1 in the region if you can't beat Oak Ridge". Not impossible. Oak Ridge will be better than alot of people think. This will be one of the fastest Oak Ridge teams in a long time.

Defensive "Mad Scientist"(Coach Speas) will not be coaching at OR this coming season. He will be missed. He is a good Defensive Coordinator. I don't think he is going to coach anywhere.

I guess you would now the ratio of the people who like him and those who don't here in Oak Ridge. Especially since you live in Florida.
