Well, i wouldn't count on finding anything in the Claiborne Progress. They don't cover either cumberland gap or claiborne well...However back to the game, it might have helped if the claiborne girls' coach actually done something...He just sit back and only called a couple of plays for them, it almost seemed as if he wanted them to lose. But im sure they will be back in swing when the tournament comes , so we will see.

I agree with almost everything you said...I do believe that it would be a great match-up and game to see in the districts if it turns out that way...The only thing i disagree with is the statement about #10 scoring the most at the end of the game...She had 8 points in the first quarter alone, and was beating everyone to the basket the whole game...She only made about 6 free throws at clutch time..She just played an all around good game that night, offense as well as defense.

Why can't anyone just give the Claiborne girls the respect they deserve...Especially you all from the gap??? How can you keep on saying that the Gap girls are better and have more talent when Claiborne girls have NEVER lost to them? No, they aren't the best team in the world but i think they have proven they are better than the gap. bball44444, who are you talking about, there isn't a #14 that plays for Claiborne? And by the way who are you?

Well i would have to agree , claiborne was definitely the better team...Cumberland Gap may not have brought their "A" game, but neither did Claiborne. If they would have played up to their potential they would have won by 30 instead of just 15. C-G may get better but so will claiborne so i see it having the same outcome in January.

I agree with Big Daddy and bball44444, Claiborne County has good players and coaches on both the girls and boys teams. Mrv1, how can you say that they don't have good players when your group of lady panthers right now have never beaten the lady bulldogs??? just a thought...

My guess is that Claiborne and Pigeon Forge will be the two top teams in the district...With Cumberland Gap and Rutledge fighting for the third spot.. Just give Union Co. a few years..they just got a new coach this year that might be able to turn it around for them.

I would have to agree...if none of the greene co. teams could beat PF last year they wouldn't have a chance this year..
