Amen Possum. Talk to any coach who's run the traditional Okie 5-2 and ask him how bad it hurts to lose your best DE. Every position is important, but that DE is in many respects the cornerstone to the defense. An undisciplined,unathletic, and or unexperienced DE will make even the best coach look like he should go back to coaching tiddly winks.

We're building baseball, softball, and football fields for our middle school and would like to know if anyone has or knows of anyone who's getting rid of their old bleachers. Through volunteer labor and fundraising, we've gotten most of the excavation. We raised enough at an auction last week to get the final grading done. Now we'll just need to give our proud parents a place to sit and enjoy.

Where exactly are you teaching right now? I know of a few baseball positions that are available this season.

Who is this "owl" guy who is bringing the Beech Football program to its knees along with the principal? Is he a tenured principal, coach, or teacher that will be there for a while? The reason that I'm asking is that I'm looking to move to that area in the near future due to work and my family has liked our visits to Long Hollow Baptist Church.

If anyone is redoing their football field in Middle Tennessee, we'd like to save you some of the trouble of tilling your old turf under. We are trying to set up a practice field for our junior high football and elementary playground. We can come to your place with a sod cutter and remove your old turf.

LaVergne Middle is opening in the fall and I believe coach Ashe is still needing some coaches. He's got two PE positions posted on the Rutherford County Schools website.
