....but we do have some Frosh & Sophmores that are gittin their experience in the hard way...I been seeing improvement from them weekly...look out Wave, you might git flushed come Fri nite..... not many includin myself thought we could stay on the field with them last year. Jackets are full of surprises.

now that the boys have figgered out they can function without Harper & Ellis, it will be business as usual. Specially since they got Raney off the IR list. this kid is gonna go far if the coaches can keep him interested & motivated.

Confuscious..go to the high school and look at the trophy case. we did win a JR High championship, the very first one ever played, either in 68 or 69...we clubbed them Night Chickens. I played in it. If it ain't there, it's on the wall somewhere. It used to be at beginning of all the Graduation Class pics. at the old HS. I will eventually get a pic of it and post it later, if i can ever remember to do it.

After this one Tushhog is prob gone till nex year. If you go to any home game and most away games, you will find alum players from as far back as the early 60's. They will be on the sidelines or in the stands, hollerin for the Jackets, fussin at the refs, etc. Most folks that ain't from here just don't understand. We have always been the little man in the game with something to prove...well..maybe not with the RBS levels, but that ain't our fault. Ironman football at TCHS does something to your level of enthusiasm, dedication, home town pride, and that has been how it's played here forever.

Throw in a couple of drunk mommas, and it can be the highlight of the week.... ...seriously tho, hard to beat the atmosphere of Fri Night Lights on the "Creekbank". We are just a small school and county, with a total County population of approx. 7200 souls. I think maybe 2000, possibly more?, of them will be at any given home game, and they roar. food is respectable, parking is good.
