  1. Not bad - you only missed your Waddy prediction.
  2. Yeah, any way you slice it - it was a huge win for Brentwood Academy. They rarely have the opportunity to beat a big program like MBA.
  3. I suspect that it was a seeding (why risk it?) situation.
  4. I was just looking at the results on the TSSAA web site. Other than Sutter and Smith it looked like the regular line-up. BA had a couple of different names as teams often do in a dual tourney. Which of the MBA starters were seniors that normally do not start?

I am not sure that I got as upset as you. That "ignorant fool" stuff was pretty harsh. I guess it does not matter that much, but I did not "out myself". Someone suspected and accussed me of being Carlos as you have. However, I am not. If you knew Carlos and you looked at my posts it is pretty obvious that I am an alumn. Carlos was indeed not around during the Tom Moore days and would not have commented about it at all. He is not much of a football fan and probably does not know much about the Tom Moore incident. We will need plenty of luck against McCallie. We are pretty injured and would be in trouble even if we weren't. We will probably be happy to see St. Benedict after that match. I did not think that you had talked too much about MBA. If I implied that it was unintentional

I did not come on this thread to defend BA. I came on here to poke a little fun at how you (in my opinion) were overly animated on your post regarding Tom Moore. Not that it was that big a deal - I just made a joke. You get in so many arguments with people you can't keep it straight.

I remember someone accusing me of being Carlos, but they were wrong. The reason was that I defended little Carlos. Is that what you call a "fact"? An accusation from last year from somone that you do not know and you want to talk about class? First of all little Carlos has been at BA for 2.5 years (you are right on the money so far) and I have posted on the football board more than wrestling. I have never even seen big Carlos at a football game (I am a former BA football player and have a son on the varsity football team). I can't imagine Carlos posting mostly in football just to try and throw you off. Bottom line you suspect that I am Carlos, but you represent it as fact. Cbg, who you referred to earlier and one of the people who you have argued with on the board, asked about Carlos. He may have thought that I was Carlos - I don't know. However, he did not represent a "fact" based on a suspicion like you do. You can say anything you want on this board and you do.

You know, I thought maybe you were mistaken, but now I realize that you are a liar. You have exploited the fact that you can type anything you want without accountablility. You have my permission to state my name if you know who I am. Now is the time to back up your "Fact". I know you are guessing. I can't wait to hear you name the person that has been at BA for one year that has a son that wrestles - that you say is me. It will really boggle my mind when you explain how you know that my wife or husband (you weren't really clear on that) is USA1. Time to back up your facts. How do you know all of this? Please present your evidence and prove you aren't a liar. I have never even stated that my son wrestles. I dare you to produce a post that said that my son wrestles. I think you may be lying once again. I don't know who you are, but I now know you are a liar.

You are wrong. I have kids in high school and middle school. But, I guess you had to come up with some sort of guess. Plus I am an alumn that has been around before and during the Tom Moore days. If I was USA1 you would be even more wrong because he is a long time employee of BA (I'm pretty sure). It was wise not to bother defending your name calling hypocrisy.

Carlos is well. I don't have much to say about busy or not busy, however.

Wow, don't get so angry. I must have hit pretty close to a target. It is ironic that you try so hard to hurt my feelings with your "ignorant fool" comment. You always whine, cry and condemn people when they call you a name on the wrestling board like "Loosierdad". That would pretty much make you a hypocrite. I said that you do not know if I was there or not during the Tom Moore days. Saying that I have a son atttending Brentwood Academy does not back up your statement. So, consider THAT a fact that you misrepresented. Unless you can back it up...can you?..didn't think so

You don't know who I am or where I was at anytime. However, I have noticed you have never let facts get in the way, as you pop off on this board at every opportunity. So, what is your story? Did you or your kid get turned down for admission or is it countles butt whippings that make you so bitter? That "Classy - Not" stuff...priceless!!! Great material.

I heard they even planted a car bomb, but he spotted it before he started his car!!!
  14. Nope, BA lost to MBA then MBA lost to Franklin then Franklin lost to BA. In my opinion any of the results could have been changed by the worst ref that I have ever witnessed.
  15. Carter McPhee had an incredible night. That boy wrestled his butt off. He beat our guy, but you have to salute him. Mark Simpson for MBA did, as well.
  16. I did not blame the ref. I was just making the observation that he was either horrible or was having a terrible night.
  17. Felix wrestled Cash and handed him his first defeat 7-2
  18. I don't know but he terrorized Franklin after MBA left. BA beat Franklin and he definetly gave BA the help in that dual. The Franklin coach made a trip or two to the table that was pretty intense. I have never seen more blown calls in one night - ever.
  19. Coach, the point is that BA fans did not get on this message board and arrogantly declare that "Brandan Wright will score at will" and "he would not be slowed down" etc. Jamie was held below is average and his team lost. Combine that with all of the pregame bragging and predictions and people are going to mention it. He had 5 extra minutes and he scored 14% less than his average in a losing effort. To sum it up: If he were not stopped from scoring his average in regulation, the Cobras would have won the game and all of the bragging and pre-game superman predictions would have been prophetic.
  20. I think if you are able to stop a star player from scoring enough points as to cause his team to have more points than your team - that is good enough. But, hey.. that's just me.
  21. Beki won a close decision and Brooks lost a close decision. It just wasn't our day. Calloway came out tentative and nervouse in his high school debut at 103. He came back strong at the end and lost 8-6. I think he would have a good shot at winning if he wrestled that match again. I thought Brannon would and could beat the Ryan 112, but the 112 just said "no". He over powered Brannon and just took the win. I think it would have gone the way you thought. I don't think Burgin would have been pinned. It was a calculated risk that would have turned out not to make a difference, but a good decision to try in my opinion.
  22. Our 135 is very good (Townes) not good enough to win against Ryan. So, they take the win at 140 with Townes which moves Cash to 145. Our 130 is injured (Tom Wilson). No way to hit Ryan head on and have a prayer. The coach has to gamble. 103 to 112 bring in the 8th grader to try and steal a win at 103 and hope you get lucky. Didn't happen - Ryan has too many good wrestlers for our line up. Two years ago we lost 74-6. I think everyone got pinned except one and the forfeit that gave us our 6 points. So, at least we are getting better.
  23. I understand the Whites Creek hit a long 3 pointer to send the game to O.T. and BA won 70-62. I guess somebody guarded Graham good enough.
  24. Horrible match up for us. At most of our strong weights Ryan is as strong or stronger. No way Justin will go to 130 even though our starting 130 is injured. Townes has been out injured as well. A chance against MBA, but not much of one tonight.
  25. It was not an issue. The Farragut kid became frustrated and bucked up a little and Justin responded. The ref took control, talked to them and settled it down. There is no way I would have even posted anything about it, personally.
