  1. Well I for one would hope that BOTH teams would support their district. However, I clearly remember last year that SEVERAL, if not all, of Sequatchie County players and fans cheered for Chattanooga teams over Grundy.
  2. It's nice that someone from Chatt Christian has talked for Megan. Just a little curious how you got the info that Megan wasn't interested with CN or Shorter. Who's scorebook person? Megan hasn't ruled out any college yet. She has been focusing on Grundy's team and her part on Grundy's team, unfortunately, their season ended earlier than they had hoped for. As for what Grundy's problem is, I am no coach, I am a fan, and really don't know what went wrong. I know they have great coaching and a lot of very talented players. As you said, with the exception of Megan, they all return next year.
  3. Grundy and Brainerd was a much closer game than the final score tells. Grundy did show a lot of hustle and determination but just missed too many shots under the basket and free throws. Brainerd is a great team. So is Grundy. They have had a great year finishing first in the regular season and runner up in the district tournament. Great Job Lady Jackets!
  4. I haven't actually seen all of these teams play either but would have to agree that it is a tough one to call. It looks like most of these teams have split wins and losses this season. My thought is that District 6 will be the underdogs for the most part. However, I do think at least one team from District 6 will continue after this week.
  5. Yeah, the Chattanooga.com said both girls' and boys' coaches from Sequatchie County were named coach of the year.
  6. According to the Chattanooga.com this is the All District Team Bledsoe-Kelly Warden Chattanooga Christian-Juanisha Hansford, Denean Walls, Tamira Rumph East Ridge-Brandi Cox Grundy-Megan Rollins, Mandy Jo Sanders, Kayla Woodlee Hixson-Nicole Rivers Howard-Antoniece Smith, Jasmine Hall Marion-Alison Rich Notre Dame-Catherine Fairbanks Sequatchie-Kelsey Bacon, Katherine Barker, Rachel Lockhart Honorable Mention went to: Lakyn Ledford (Sequatchie) and Cassi Kilgore (Marion)
  7. From what I am told, Grundy will play the winner of the play-in game. I believe Monday at 5:30.
  8. Grundy beat Howard by 17. I believe the score was 64-47.
  9. Fans of Bledsoe's opponents will miss her also. I enjoy watching her play. Best of luck to Bledsoe and to Warden's recovery.
  10. Just curious..where can I find the middle school forum?
