Culleoka's pitcher, i'm not sure what her name is, was batting and i guess when she went to run she stepped badly and her knee cap popped out of place....she immediately started screaming and someone called an ambulance. The ambulance took forever to get there but they put her on a stretcher and took her to the hospital. The game between Culleoka and Zion was called. Our prayers are with Culleoka!!

Zion is definitely ready to have an amazing season, with most of the same ppl as last year!!! They can only get stronger!!

Praise the Lord!! I'm praying for the CA community...I hope you all get through this time...Praying especially for the families of these girls and for Grace that she may get through this emotional trauma. Also I'm prayin for the man who was driving the truck that hit them, I pray that he will not experience any guilt for what has happened, only God could have prevented that accident. Everyone is praying for you CA!!!

Zion will win this one!!! THey played extremely well in their last game against Perry County and came away with a win... Zion by 12!!

I didn't mean that... I juss meant that no matter how fair they are being someone will still think that they are unfair in one way or another.

How immature can we be??? Zion beat CA earlier this year...so statistically Zion is better than CA. No denying that... You can make excuses as much as you like as to why CA isn't that good this year, but the fact still remains that CA isn't that good this year...and that is putting it very tactfully.

Abby Andrews---Collinwood One that doesn't get a lot of attention: Jenniffer Cothran --Hampshire

The Hampshire girls definitely have a lot of intensity and desire to win. Cothran is a very strong player who flourishes with her team. Their coach is always fired up on the sidelines, there isn't a moment he isn't encouraging his team.

I have to say that I agree!! But I do think that being a ref is like the hardest job in the world...no matter what they do they can never make everyone happy..so let's give em a little credit..

Perry County beats Zion....very intense game... THe Refs were actually calling in Zion's favor, but maybe juss a little too much...They targeted Edney and #32 for their aggressive play...Weatherly sat out a lot with three fouls in the first half..What are some thoughts about the game??

Zion is way better than CA....They tend to play to the level of their oppossing team...

Summertown should come away with the win... They have more a lot of talented girls I would like to see Andrews lead Collinwood to a victory, but I don't see Summertown letting that happen twice...

Did anyone see the Clifton Zion game?

Zion lost in OT by about 4. Zion's point guards got into foul trouble early in the game, and they had to pull a sophomore off the bench. She did a great job, though. Hampshire played a great game and Zion just wasnt' playing together....

Zion will be ready to play!!!! Hampshire has improved, but Zion knows how important this win is to their district rankings... Zion by 20+

Mary Heard---Zion Christian Academy!! She is an all-around player, and will only continue to get better and better. SHe improved greatly from last season and when she is a senior she will be unstoppable!!

I have to agree that Zion could pull an upset on any of the four top teams, but it will take hard work from all the players. When Zion plays together they are unstoppable. In my opinion, they have more talent all-around then any other team in there district. On average, they are probably to tallest team in their district and they have 5 or six players that have a lot of experience. If Zion works hard and as a team for an entire game, there is no tellin who they will beat.

Well even if they're not goin to be state champions, it gives you no right to shatter their confidence like that. Just because your team has been good for awhile doesnt' mena that that won't eventually change!!!! Just wait!!! CLifton may beat ya'll eventually!!!!

The number of people in one's school means absolutely nothing when it comes to basketball. With a talented group of girls and a good coach anything is possible!!!! To the clifton girls, all I have to say is don't let cocky people like this bring u down!!!!! Keep playing hard and give it the best you got in every game!!!!! People like this just have to put people down to make themselves feel better...... Keep playin hard and do the best you can do and if that doesn't satisfy people like this, well nothing ever does. They are insatiable parasites who feed off the misery of others!

I have a very similar story....I was also in Middle School and we were killing this team, so our coach put in the first year players... I was not included in this group so I helplessly watched the incident occur from the sidelines... ONe of our players got a defensive rebound and without hesitation shot the ball back up, however it did not go in and another of our players proceeded to get the rebound and once again put it back up... This passing game continued three or four more times and they finally made the basket. They high-fived each other and began to run down the floor. At that point they finally heard our screams coming from the bench... "Wrong basket!!!!" They looked at each other with pure shock on their faces... Looking back all you can do is laugh!!!!
