How will things line up in the district this year?

How about some predictions for how things line up in the district this year.

It's a shame what happened today. I was looking forward to seeing a good scrimmage. It appeared that both teams were mouthing quite a bit. I'm sure all WC players will blame UC and i'm sure all the UC players will blame WC. It doesn't really matter whose fault it was neither team can say much was accomplished today. I saw some lady in a red shirt walk out into the end zone when the first incident took place. Not really sure if she was a WC fan or UC fan but had that crazy look in her eye like she was gonna go Hulk Hogan on somebody's ####. Bottom line both teams Grow up Shut up and Play Football you can join WWE after high school.

wc has had good post play throughout the year dixon and keating have had good games this year.....dixon scored 17 agaist cwood early this year and keating had a good game later in the year at cwood scoreing 21 and havin 11 boards to lead wc back for the win.. they post play will be enough 4 wc to win Dixon getting 17 and Keating getting 21 and 11 on cwood is not much to brag about. who is their post player anyway?? a no name in the 6A region. and CA has big name post players in the STATE. Dixon and Keating share post play. True our guard play is the strongest part of our team, but our post guys have hit some big shots for us when we need them. Not they probably won't come out and score 20 tomorrow but they aren't bad. We must be doing something right to get to state. Why all the haterade pcviking? You just need to root for your team...oh wait they are at the house aren't they?.. You think since we put you guys out that you could at least support d12.

Wayne County definitely playing the underdog role. hopefully they can keep on going like the last few games,

I'm glad everyone is overlooking Wayne County and already putting Clarksville Academy and Humboldt in the finals. GO WILDCATS!!!

First off you have only see us by twice..and I'm guessing that those were both Lawrence County games. Yall are AAA and we played with you, until your guys pulled away in the 4th. That being said Tyler Rice is our best player and our leader, but we have other guards that are more than capable of scoring. Our last 3 games have been total team efforts with Rice leading us. We have had 5 players in double figures too. Parrish, Brantley, and Austin Rice have been playing great. Go Wildcats!!

First off, I'm not going to take away from Moore County one bit. They flat out beat us today no question and are obviously well coached. But my gosh WC flat out gave it away with turnovers. We didn't bring our A game..or even our B game. Oh well good season Lady Cats...On to root for the Wildcats..

Who are the coaches for Wayne Co.? I know 6 or 7 years ago they had a young guy coaching. Is he still there? The head honcho is some old fogey named Franks. Senility and Alzheimer's might slow some other folks down, but not this guy. Old Fogey? Franks isn't that old mid 30s i'd say. Surely no alzheimers yet.

The Cats coaching staff will have the guys prepared. They are no strangers to Murphy Center...made final four in both 05 and 06... Can't wait to find out who we play on Saturday. Hope we get a good draw! Go Cats!

Congrats to Coach Franks and the Wildcats. Tyler Rice played awesome tonight. McEwen was a good team and their post guy is great. Came down to our guards being better than theirs. Great game! STATE BOUND!!!!!

thank you radio 33 me and you met at last years wayne county perry co football game and your a passionate about perry county sports but you show class as to how you support your team and dont talk trash to 14-18 year old kids hard loss for perry county but a great win for wayne county i hope to see everyone from wayne county at the game tomorrow night... aint it odd that wayne county and summertown are playing for both the guys and girls region tonight and tomorrow night I don't think its odd at all that both Stown and Wayne County's boys and girls are in the region championship games. All 4 programs have been solid for some time. They have all had numerous substate and state tournament appearances. Willard always has his girls ready and has several substates and state tourneys under his belt. Byrd well 600 + wins and has been to state tournaments dating back to Noah's Ark. Trotter is the Bobby Knight and Bobby Boucher of Region 6 with his share of state tourney appearances. And Franks at Wayne County is getting another substate shot this year and has a couple of state tourney appearances himself. So with all this said no surprise at all.

Dude, did you not get enough hugs from your daddy growing up? This is just wrong. You talk about WC and Mt P being thugs but the only thug here is you. To say that high school kids will only make "loggers or pump gas/ be in jail" of themselves is a low blow. WC and PC both played with class tonight. I wish I could say the same for the PC fans. I know its got to be a crushing loss but you can't let them back in the 4th quater!! No sense in screaming at the refs as this won't change anything. But that is just PC fans. FYI-The game has changed to Thursday night due to weather and road conditions.

Don't overlook Tuesday night in the Boro. PC has to beat W/boro on their home court first. This will not be an easy task.

Who will finish in the top spot?

I hope that the ENTIRE UC team feels the same way. I can't wait to see the tornado's dominate. I think it will be a close game..both teams are obviously talented to make it this far. This is gonna be a great night of football!!! Bundle up! GO CATS!!!!!!

You also have to factor in how bad Wayne County wants this win. I couldn't think of a more satisfying win than if the Cats put out the big trojans tonight! Talk about a huge upset! I look for it to be a very close game! Just cause both teams will want it so bad. A lot of Cwood fans are already talking about playing Cully, so I hope they aren't overlooking Wayne County...that could spell for a upset. Our guys are playing well right now and playing as a team. Your original post was a good one bigtymer. Thompson, Rice, and Long are all good players and shouldn't have to be subject to all the crap that is put on here.

I'm looking forward to some baseball games this year. There is a lot of excitement about this years team around town. Normally football and basketball get all the attention but I think there will be some crowds at the games this year. Good luck Coach Reaves, Coach Rice, and the players!

Wildcats86 you made my point exactly. He could be a good player, but he can't play like he did in middle school. He is no longer the biggest guy on the floor and needs to change his game accordingly. Again not dissing the kid, I just think he can do better than what he is. Glad to see someone on here with some basketball knowledge. GOOD LUCK CATS!!

LOL! Tyler Dixon couldn't hit the broad side of a barn against clifton and several other games I went to. He also missed a TON of free throws. Obviously, the Coach must have lit a fire under his butt and let him know he had to get it together..which I believe he showed in the 4th quarter. Did you think Peyton Mathis played bad against Perry Co or something? I thought he did really good. I was wondering why he wasn't playing sooner. Go Cats!
